IDAHO NOMINEES

Thomas Bateman, Bonners Ferry boys basketball: Tallied 38 points in a 82-33 win over TImberlake.

Liam Campbell, Owyhee boys basketball: Logged 24 points and four steals in a 70-44 win over Borah.

Kennasyn Garza, Pocatello girls basketball: Joined the 1,000 career-point club with a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds in a 56-18 district tournament rout of Century.

Russell Gibson, Eagle boys basketball: Racked up 21 points, nine rebounds and five assists in a 57-46 win over Middleton.

Avery Howell, Boise girls basketball: Netted 21 of her game-high 28 points in the second half to go with 12 rebounds for her 14th double-double of the season in a 58-47 win over Owyhee in the semifinals of the Class 5A District III Tournament.

Payton Knudson, Centennial boys basketball: Tallied 26 points on 6-of-7 shooting from 3-point range in a 73-68 win over Mountain View.

Emmett Palan, Camas County boys basketball: Notched a double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds in a 59-56 win over No. 4 Butte County.

Marlee Pieper, Blackfoot girls basketball: Recorded a season-high 32 points in a 72-66 district tournament win over Skyline.

Kylie Schumacher, Prairie girls basketball: Had more rebounds than the opposing team’s point total with a double-double of 24 points and 10 boards in a 76-8 win over Clearwater Valley.

Avery Waddington, Lake City girls basketball: Tied a 16-year school record with 34 points in an 87-29 victory over Post Falls.
