Ryan Boe, Batavia football

The North Dakota State commit completed 14 of 23 passes for 137 yards and a touchdown, and added 109 yards and a touchdown on the ground in a 21-18 rivalry win against Geneva.

Ares Boelter, Hubbard football

The senior carried 20 times for 118 yards and two touchdowns, and intercepted two passes – returning one for a touchdown – in a 26-20 victory against King.

Caden Casimino, Crystal Lake South football

The senior completed 36 of 66 passes for a Fox Valley Conference-record 551 yards and four touchdowns in a 54-43 loss to Huntley.

Brianna Chamoun, Sycamore girls golf

Chamoun won the Spartans' Class 2A regional by nine shots, finishing with a 71.

Aiden Clark, Naperville Central football

The junior ran 26 times for 138 yards and had the game-winning 30-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter of a 21-14 rivalry win against Naperville North.

Vontae Clark, Glenbard South football

In a 14-13 win over South Elgin that ended the Storm's 29-game Upstate Eight Conference win streak, the junior rushed for 131 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries.

Martin Cohen, Antioch football

The junior rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown and intercepted two passes to help seal a 33-12 win against Wauconda.

Katie Drew, Dixon girls golf

Drew shot a 77 to win the individual title at the Class 1A Byron Regional by nine strokes.

Jack Elliott, Mount Carmel football

The junior quarterback threw three touchdown passes and ran for 87 yards to keep the Caravan's undefeated season rolling with a 42-7 victory over rival Brother Rice.

Blake Gelly, Highland football

The sophomore completed 7 of 9 passes for 267 yards and four touchdowns in a 63-8 win against Civic Memorial.

Carson Grove, Hersey football

The Northwestern commit caught eight passes for 148 yards and a touchdown in a 28-3 win against rival Prospect.

Dierre Hill Jr., Althoff football

The junior rushed for 141 yards and a touchdown and had two interceptions, including a pick-six, in a 38-27 win against Collinsville.

Daryle Jones, Centralia football

In a 43-20 victory over Marion, the senior completed 18 of 21 passes for 246 yards and two touchdowns, and ran for 154 yards and three fourth-quarter scores.

Isabella Keller, Effingham St. Anthony girls cross country

The freshman took third at the Nike XC Town Twilight Invitational Race of Champions in Terre Haute, Ind., running 17:06.60.

Vivian Kutek, Wheaton Academy girls golf

Kutek's 84 earned medalist honors at the Class 1A Providence Regional.

Dylan Maloney, Plainfield South boys cross country

The junior finished third in the Nike XC Town Twilight Invitational Race of Champions in Terre Haute, Ind., running 14:57.70.

Cale McThenia, Marian Central Catholic football

The Northern Iowa commit completed 22 of 32 passes for 304 yards and a touchdown and added 111 rushing yards and three scores in a 28-26 loss to Chicago Hope Academy.

Jake Melion, York football

The senior rushed for 279 yards and two touchdowns and also caught a 31-yard touchdown pass in a 32-21 victory over Downers Grove North.

Alessio Milivojevic, St. Francis football

In a 35-34 victory over previously unbeaten IC Catholic, the Ball State commit completed 25 of 37 passes for 289 yards and two touchdowns and ran for two more scores. He clinched the win with a successful two-point conversion to take the lead with 19 seconds to play.

Nuri Muhammad, Lincoln-Way East football

The senior rushed for 132 yards on eight carries and had two first-half touchdowns in a 41-0 shutout of Lockport.

Nick Peipert, Barrington football

The junior completed 15 of 23 passes for 330 yards and four touchdowns during a 55-14 victory against Schaumburg.

Ethan Plumb, St. Charles North football

The junior passed for 305 yards and three TDs, and also ran for a score in a 40-14 win against St. Charles East.

Colin Qualls, Triad football

In a 34-17 victory over Mascoutah, the senior rushed 26 times for 177 yards and three touchdowns.

Kaden Rakers, Breese Central football

The junior ran for 145 yards and four touchdowns in a 41-7 victory over Salem.

Lilly Riegger, Hinsdale Central girls golf

Riegger shot a 71, one shot better than teammate Elyssa Abdullah, to earn medalist honors and led the Red Devils to the Class 2A Glenbard East Regional championship.

Kathryn Sweeney, Fenwick girls golf

Sweeney shot a 78 to win the individual title at the Class 2A St. Ignatius Regional.

Jayden Voss, Carlyle boys soccer

The sophomore had all four goals in a 4-1 win against Vandalia.

Nolan Wheeler, Mahomet-Seymour boys soccer

The senior had six goals in a 7-2 victory against Urbana.

Tyler Wilson, Civic Memorial boys soccer

The junior had six goals and four assists during a three-game stretch, including a hat trick and two assists against Mattoon.

Larevious Woods, East St. Louis football

The junior carried eight times for 52 yards and scored three second-quarter touchdowns in a 63-0 shutout of Belleville West. 


Barrington girls cross country runner Scout Storms voted SBLive's Illinois High School Athlete of the Week (Sept. 18-24) 

Congratulations to Barrington girls cross country runner Scout Storms, who was voted the SBLive Illinois High School Athlete of the Week for Sept. 18-24. She received more than 58 percent of the votes

Storms, a junior, took first at the Palatine Meet of Champions in 17:06.

Naperville Central football player Jack Cook finished second in the voting after receiving more than 20 percent of the votes.
