Logan Abrams, RB, Cary-Grove
Abrams was a workhorse during the Trojans 47-21 victory over Crystal Lake South. The sophomore finished the game with 189 yards and four touchdowns.
Andrew Bownes, DL, East St. Louis
A senior, Bownes recorded 11 tackles and three sacks – both season highs – as the Flyers defeated host Edwardsville 27-15 to win the Southwestern Conference championship.
Kevon Brooks, QB, South Elgin
Brooks had the South Elgin offense firing on all cylinders during a 49-7 victory over Upstate Eight Conference opponent Bartlett. The junior completed 14 of his 19 passes for 177 yards and four touchdowns.
Nick Day, RB, Antioch
Day had a productive performance in the Sequoits' 48-15 homecoming victory over Grayslake Central. He racked up 118 yards on 12 carries and found the end zone twice in the third quarter.
Dillon Fitzpatrick, RB, Barrington
Fitzpatrick was a major contributor to a Barrington offensive outburst during its 50-32 win over Palatine. The senior had 19 carries for 192 yards and two touchdowns and added a touchdown reception.
Nick Herman, RB, St. Rita
Herman had a solid effort on the ground during the Mustangs' hard fought 20-9 victory over St. Laurence. St. Rita fed the junior the ball 25 times and he racked up 152 yards and a touchdown to lead the offense.
Markus Kehrer, TE/DL, Breese Mater Dei
Kehrer scored a career-high three touchdowns in the Knights' 55-7 win over Decatur St. Teresa. He caught two touchdown passes and added a rushing TD and added nine tackles on defense.

Michael Loberg, TE, Geneva
Loberg took over as the main target during Geneva’s 42-20 win against St. Charles East. The senior tight end caught four touchdown passes in the victory.
Aiden McClure, LB, St. Charles North
The sophomore came up with three interceptions to lead a stout St. Charles North defensive effort in a 42-14 DuKane Conference victory over Lake Park.
David McCoy, K, Burlington Central
McCoy was the hero in Burlington Central’s 17-14 overtime victory over Hampshire. The junior battled a downpour and swirling winds and converted on the game-winning 20-yard field goal.

Ryan Mohler, QB, Neuqua Valley
Mohler played a big role in just one half of action during Neuqua Valley’s 42-6 win over DuPage Valley Conference rival DeKalb. The senior accounted for 252 total yards and four touchdowns in the victory.
Nick Peipert, QB, Barrington
The junior quarterback guided the Broncos offense to a 50-32 win over Palatine to clinch the Mid-Suburban West title. Peipert completed 13 of 16 passes for 148 yards and three touchdowns and also added a rushing touchdown.
Chris Pirrone, RB, Lake Zurich
Pirrone paced the Bears' offense during their 30-14 victory over Mundelein. The senior carried the ball 29 times for 183 yards as Lake Zurich improved to 7-1.
Colin Qualls, RB, Triad
Qualls scored three touchdowns to lead the Knights to a 51-6 win against visiting Civic Memorial. The senior ran for 103 yards and two TDs on just six carries and also returned a punt 60 yards for a touchdown.
Dakota Rakers, RB/DB, Carlyle
Carlyle earned a tough 28-25 win over Wesclin and Rakers led the way. He rushed for 179 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries and added a 25-yard reception to rack up 204 total yards. He also recorded 10 tackles on defense.
East St. Louis beats Edwardsville to win Southwestern Conference football championship
Kaden Rakers, RB, Breese Central
Rakers had a big day in the Cougars' 33-13 win at Columbia with 237 total yards and three touchdowns. The junior running back carried 26 times for 175 yards and three scores and added 62 yards on two receptions.
Blake Salvino, QB/LB, Glenbard East
Salvino was a leader on both sides of the ball in Glenbard East’s 28-14 upset victory over Upstate Eight opponent Glenbard South. He finished with 12 completions for 184 yards and three touchdowns and led a defensive unit that held a high-powered offense to just two scores.
Jake Skoog, QB, Prospect
Skoog lit up the stat sheet during Prospect’s dominant 63-28 victory over Buffalo Grove. The junior threw for 299 yards and five touchdowns and also added a rushing touchdown.
Trenton Zeeb, QB, Breese Mater Dei
Zeeb led the way in the Knights' 55-7 win over Decatur St. Teresa with three touchdown passes and a rushing score.
