Wilmington's Reid Juster voted SBLive’s Illinois High School Athlete of the Week (11/20/2023)

Juster received more than 54 percent of the total votes cast

Congratulations to Wilmington football player Reid Juster, who was voted SBLive's Illinois High School Athlete of the Week for Nov. 6-12.

He received 5,910 votes, more than 54 percent of the total votes cast, to edge out the second-place finisher.

Juster, a senior, kicked two field goals – a 54-yarder as time expired in the first half and a 37-yarder at the end of regulation to force overtime. He also caught three passes for 41 yards in a 20-14 overtime win against Seneca in the Class 2A quarterfinals.

Breese Mater Dei volleyball player Addison Nenninger finished second in the voting after receiving more than 42 percent of the votes.
