Joliet Catholic's Andres Munoz voted SBLive’s Illinois High School Athlete of the Week (11/27/2023)
Congratulations to Joliet Catholic football player Andres Munoz, who was voted SBLive's Illinois High School Athlete of the Week for Nov. 13-19.
He received 2,118 votes, more than 60 percent of the total votes cast.
Munoz, a senior, was 6-for-8 passing for 134 yards and two touchdowns, and also ran for a TD in a 31-21 Class 5A semifinal victory against Providence.
Lincoln-Way East girls basketball Lana Kerley finished second in the voting after receiving more than 33 percent of the votes.
