Chicago St. Ignatius defensive tackle Justin Scott, ranked as the No. 7 overall prospect in the Class of 2024 by 247Sports, has flipped his commitment from Ohio State to the University of Miami.

The 6-foot-4, 310-pounder committed to the Buckeyes on July 2 after taking visits to Georgia, Michigan, Miami and Ohio State.

On Wednesday, the news broke that the big fella was headed South instead.

Scott, the top-rated prospect in Illinois, is rated as the third-best defensive lineman in the Class of 2024. He becomes the top prospect committed to the Hurricanes and the lone five-star prospect who has pledged to Miami in this recruiting cycle.
