Hadjistamoulou received more than 52 percent of the total votes

Congratulations to Glenbrook North boys basketball player Anestis Hadjistamoulou, who was voted SBLive's Illinois High School Athlete of the Week for December 11-17.

Hadjistamoulou received more than 52 percent of the total votes for the week.

The junior had 21 points, four rebounds and three steals in a 47-39 victory over Watervliet (Mich.).

Lincoln Park boys basketball player Chayse Turner finished second in the voting after receiving more than 31 percent of the votes.
