Here are the candidates for SBLive's Illinois High School Athlete of the Week as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff.

Arianna Araujo, Stagg girls bowling

The senior won the IHSA state title, averaging 219.5 over six games for a total pinfall of 2,634. She had three games over 230, including a 266.

Immanuel Brown, Warren boys basketball

The senior had 19 points as the Blue Devils beat Lake Zurich 64-39 for their seventh straight win and a share of the North Suburban title with Lake Forest.

Mario Brown, Granite City boys basketball

The senior passed 1,000 points for his career in an 80-53 win against Lift for Life (Mo.).

Brooke Carlson, Batavia girls basketball

The Colorado State recruit had 25 points, five rebounds, four steals and an assist in a 55-36 Class 4A regional final win against Wheaton Warrenville South.

PJ Chambers, DePaul Prep boys basketball

The senior scored 20 points in a 41-38 win against Mount Carmel and 19 points in a 49-35 victory over Benet for the Catholic League Blue champs, who have won 10 in a row.

Ben Davino, St. Charles East boys wrestling

The Ohio State recruit earned his fourth IHSA state title, winning a 20-5 technical fall in 3:35 against Hononegah's Thomas Silva in the Class 3A 132-pound title bout. Davino is 50-0 and ranked No. 1 nationally at his weight by SBLive.

Lexi DiOrio, St. Charles East girls basketball

The senior passed 1,000 career points in an 85-76 double-overtime win against Wheaton North in a Class 4A regional final.

Zavier Fitch, Brother Rice boys basketball

The senior had 27 points in wins over St. Ignatius (69-60) and Niles Notre Dame (59-42), helping the Crusaders extend their winning streak to 10 games.

Isaiah Green, Thornton boys basketball

The senior scored 20 points, hitting five 3-pointers, in a 58-38 victory against Crete-Monee.

Dillan Johnson, Joliet Catholic boys wrestling

The Wisconsin football recruit won his fourth IHSA state title, pinning Hinsdale Central's Marko Ivanesevic in 1:58 in the Class 3A 285-pound final. Johnson is 39-1 this season and 143-1 for his career.

Morez Johnson, Thornton boys basketball

The Illinois recruit had yet another double-double for the Southland champs in a 58-38 win over Crete-Monee, finishing with 10 points, 15 rebounds, seven blocks and three assists.

Seth Mendoza, Mount Carmel boys wrestling

The junior won his third IHSA state title, beating Marist's Michael Esteban 13-5 in the Class 3A 126-pound final to improve to 42-2.

Caleb Noble, Warren boys wrestling

The freshman, ranked No. 3 nationally by SBLive at 106 pounds, won the IHSA Class 3A title with a 6-5 decision over No. 8 Rocco Cassioppi of Hononegah. Noble is 42-3 this season.

Reid Olson, Niles North boys basketball

The junior shot 7-for-13 from 3-point range and scored 30 points in a 74-62 win against Prospect.

JT Pettigrew, Bolingbrook boys basketball

The junior had 22 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks in a 65-63 win over then-Illinois No. 1 Homewood-Flossmoor.

Maziah Shelton, Joliet West girls basketball

The senior passed the 1,000-point mark for her career in a win against Bloom.

Luke Smith, Addison Trail boys basketball

The junior broke his own program record for single-season scoring. He had 751 points through the regular season to boost his career total to 1,671.

David Vargas, Sandburg boys basketball

The senior hit a program-record nine 3-pointers in an 80-76 overtime win against Lockport. He also holds the single-season program record with 114 3-pointers.

Larenz Walters, Kankakee boys basketball

The senior had a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds in a 54-45 win over Thornwood and finished with 15 points and six rebounds in a 56-54 victory against Crete-Monee.

Tavariyuan Williams, De La Salle boys basketball

The senior scored 20 points in a 73-55 win against Marian Catholic and 20 more in a 73-29 victory over St. Rita.
