Pike Central's Karley Kavanaugh voted SBLive's Indiana High School Athlete of the Week (April 24-30)
Congratulations to Pike Central softball's Karley Kavanaugh, who was voted the SBLive Indiana high school Athlete of the Week for April 24-30. She received more than 56 percent of the votes.
Kavanaugh went 3-for-3 with two doubles and four RBIs in a 16-5 win against Boonville.
Barr-Reeve softball player Karlye Graber finished second in the voting after receiving more than 29 percent of the votes.

Ran 22.44 in the 200 meters, breaking a 43-year-old program record.
Peyton Blackard, Gibson Southern boys golf
Shot a 4-under 68 to finish first at the Hall of Fame Invitational.
Seth Deom, Heritage Hills baseball
Allowed three hits and struck out three over five innings, and was 2-for-3 with a double in an 11-1 victory over Gibson Southern.
Mikayla Derks, Illiana Christian softball
Threw a five-inning no-hitter with eight strikeouts in an 11-0 shutout of Griffith. Also pitched a three-hitter and was 2-for-3 with a homer in a 3-0 shutout against Munster.
Bradyn Douglas, Frankton baseball
Went 4-for-4 with two triples, four runs and two RBIs in a 14-2 victory against Cowan.
Karlye Graber, Barr-Reeve softball
Struck out 17, pitched a two-hitter and homered in a 9-0 shutout of Vincennes Lincoln.
Joseph Greene, Hammond Central baseball
Went 3-for-3 with three triples, two runs and four RBIs in a 12-1, five-inning win against Calumet.
Luke Himes, Heritage Christian boys track and field
Went 66-7 in the shot put at the Circle City Conference Meet. It's the second-best effort in the U.S. this season.
Erin Hoehn, North Posey softball
Threw a five-inning no-hitter, striking out nine, in a 15-0 win over South Spencer.
Jake Hooker, University baseball
Struck out 10 in four innings, allowing no earned runs and one hit, and homered and drove in two runs in an 8-1 rain-shortened win against Fort Wayne Luers.
Andrew Jimenez, Griffith baseball
Went 3-for-4 with a run and five RBIs in a 12-3 victory against Morton.
Jonah Kyle, Valparaiso boys volleyball
Had 11 kills, six digs and 12 service points in a four-set win against Crown Point.
Chloe Linn, Western softball
Pitched a five-inning no-hitter with 12 strikeouts in a 10-0 shutout of Lewis Cass.
Hadley Lucas, Bloomington North girls track and field
Had a state season-best of 167-2 in the discus at the Conference Indiana Meet.
Christian Pownall, Western baseball
Struck out 18 and pitched a five-hitter in a 9-0 win against Lewis Cass.
Alex Rasche, Evansville Memorial softball
Struck out five over five innings and was 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs in a 12-2 win against Evansville Harrison.
Kami Shoemaker, Kokomo softball
Hit two homers in a 16-2 win against Taylor.
Ava Zachary, Penn softball
Homered twice, doubled and drove in eight runs in an 18-0, five-inning win over South Bend Clay.
