Khobie Martin is staying home.

The Fishers standout senior running back announced his verbal commitment to the University of Indiana on Friday morning, just eight days after receiving a scholarship offer from the Hoosiers.

The 6-foot, 195-pounder committed to Miami University (Ohio) back on April 14, picking the RedHawks over offers from Northern Illinois, Eastern Kentucky, Illinois State, Indiana State, Austin Peay and Ball State.

Martin received a scholarship offer from Indiana on Sept. 14 and, a few days later, decommitted from Miami-Ohio on Sept. 17. Now, he's going to be a Hoosier and play in the Big 10 Conference.

Martin rushed for 1,194 yards and 16 touchdowns as a junior and has 768 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground through the first five games this season.
