Halbert Aguirre, RB/LB, Decatur Central

Aguirre was a key contributor on both sides of the ball in the Hawks' 24-12 victory over Bloomington South to advance to the 5A state championship. The senior scored Decatur Central's first touchdown on a 3-yard run and he made several key tackles that helped hold Bloomington South in check.

Uriah Buchanan, RB, Fort Wayne Snider

Buchanan’s effort on the ground helped the Panthers defeat Merrillville 28-0 to advance to its first state championship game since 2015. The senior rushed 21 times for 96 yards and three touchdowns.

Tyler Cherry, QB, Center Grove

Cherry did all he could in Center Grove’s 37-34 overtime loss to Ben Davis. The Duke commit led a comeback attempt from an 18-point deficit and finished with 405 yards passing and four TDs.

Mickey Daring, RB/LB, Bishop Luers

Daring was the leader on both sides of the ball during Bishop Luers' 28-7 2A semifinal victory over Lafayette Central Catholic. The senior finished with 60 yards and two touchdowns on the ground and he totaled seven tackles (two for losses), a sack, and a forced fumble on defense.

Kylar Decker, QB, Leo

Decker had an impressive showing under center in a 45-33 loss to a talented NorthWood squad. The senior completed 24 of 37 passes for 335 yards and four touchdowns.

Larry Ellison, RB, Crown Point

Ellison had a gritty performance in the Bulldogs' thrilling 38-31 overtime victory over Westfield. The junior racked up 165 yards on 37 carries.

Jed Galvin, RB, North Posey

Galvin, a junior, scored four touchdowns in the Vikings' 37-7 win over Southmont. He has scored 29 total touchdowns this season. 

Trevor Gibbs, TE, Crown Point

Gibbs helped Crown Point build an early lead and advance to Lucas Oil Stadium after a hard-fought 38-31 overtime victory over Westfield. The sophomore finished with six catches for 72 yards and two first-half touchdowns.

Jett Goldsberry, QB, Heritage Hills

Goldsberry led Heritage Hills to a 23-20 victory over Gibson Southern to advance to the 3A championship on Friday. The sophomore threw for a touchdown and added another score on the ground.

Thomas Gotkowski, QB, Ben Davis

The senior quarterback threw for 211 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another score as the top-ranked Giants defeated Ben Davis 37-34 in overtime to secure a spot in the title game. 

Braydon Hall, RB, Indianapolis Lutheran

A senior, Hall had another big performance in Indianapolis Lutheran’s 56-14 victory over Sheridan to remain undefeated. Hall rushed for six touchdowns to pace the Saints.

Dylan Maxwell, RB, East Central

Maxwell came up big on both sides of the ball during East Central’s dominant 49-0 victory over New Palestine. The senior rushed 14 times for 251 yards and two touchdowns and recorded seven tackles.

Owen Roeder, QB, NorthWood

Roeder’s dual-threat ability helped NorthWood advance to its first state championship game since 2016 with a 45-33 victory over Leo on Friday. The senior finished with two passing touchdowns and two rushing TDs on pace the Panthers.

Daniel Shaw, RB, Bishop Chatard

Shaw was a key contributor in the Trojans' dominant 42-14 victory over Knox. The junior had touchdown runs of 5, 17, and 33 yards and paced the Chatard offense.

Zane Skibinski, WR, Ben Davis

Skibinski was the Giants' playmaker in their 37-34 overtime victory over reigning 6A champion Center Grove. The senior caught three touchdown passes and finished with four catches for 134 yards.

Nate Williams, WR, Ben Davis

It came down to the last play in the Giants' wild 37-34 overtime victory over Center Grove and Williams answered the call. The senior caught the game-winning 10-yard touchdown pass to send Ben Davis to the 6A championship game.
