Lake Central's Aniyah Bishop voted SBLive’s Indiana High School Athlete of the Week (2/26/2024)

Aniyah Bishop helped Lake Central advance to the state finals for the first time since 1998

Congratulations to Lake Central girls basketball player Aniyah Bishop, who was voted SBLive's Indiana High School Athlete of the Week for February 12-18.

She received more than 71 percent of the total votes for the week. 

A senior, Bishop scored 24 points in two Class 4A semistate games as the Indians advanced to the state finals for the first time since 1998.

Tipton boys basketball player Grady Carpenter finished second in the voting after receiving more than 21 percent of the votes.
