The junior went 5-for-5 in season-opening 16-3 win over Cherokee.

Haleigh Smith, Iowa City Liberty

The junior hit four home runs as her 11th-ranked 5A team opened 6-0.

The junior hit four home runs in West’s first three games.

Brynlee Slockett, Liberty

The sophomore hit three home runs in her first six games.
