Here are SBLive's Iowa high school football rankings for the week of Sept. 11:

1. Southeast Polk (3-0)

Connor Moberly diced the Cedar Rapids Prairie defense to the tune of 17 of 21 for 215 yards and five TDs with no INTs in a 42-7 win.

2. West Des Moines Dowling (3-0)

Ra’Shawd Davis carried 36 times for 242 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-14 win over Ankeny.

3. Williamsburg (3-0) 

Rayce Heitman made 11 solo tackles, including two for losses and one sack, in a 49-20 win over Clear Creek-Amana.

4. Cedar Rapids Xavier (2-1)

The Saints had second-half touchdown drives of 80, 77 and 66 yards to nip No. 7 Western Dubuque 22-20.

5. Mount Vernon (3-0)

Jackson Hird carried 25 times for 145 yards in a hard-fought 19-7 victory over Benton Community.

6. North Scott (3-0)

Kyler Gerardy continued his sensational play by completing 12 of 14 for 246 yards and two scores and rushing 15 times for 162 yards and another TD in a 42-28 win over Davenport Assumption.

7. Western Dubuque (2-1)

Tanner Anderson threw for 176 yards and two touchdowns, but the Bobcats settled for a near-miss in their 22-20 loss to Xavier.

8. Ankeny (1-2)

Hawks surrendered 504 total yards in their 35-14 loss to Dowling.

9. Ankeny Centennial (2-1)

Remarkable night for QB Trenton Smith, who went 18 of 21 for 287 yards and six touchdowns with no interceptions in a 42-13 win over Cedar Falls.

10. Van Meter (3-0)

Austin Baumhover completed 14 of 17 for 150 yards and four TDs with no INTs in a 52-14 thrashing of Humboldt.

11. Central Lyon/George-Little Rock (3-0)

Reece Vander Zee (131 rushing yards, 2 TDs) and Graham Eben (127, 4 TDs) spearheaded a 409-yard rushing attack in a 70-7 win over West Sioux.

12. Webster City (3-0)

Late in the first half of a 21-20 win over North Polk, Keegan Hisler returned a fumble 99 yards for a tide-turning score.

13. Bettendorf (3-0)

Jake Schulz caught five passes for 135 yards and two touchdowns in a 48-10 win over Urbandale.

14. Creston (3-0)

Cael Turner completed 18 of 28 for 399 yards and four TDs, and Brennan Hayes caught seven of those passes for 210 yards and two TDs in a 48-28 win over Ballard.

15. Lewis Central (2-1)

Brady Hetzel threw for 237 yards and three TDs, and the Titans bounced back from their loss to Creston with a massive 38-31 road win over ADM.

16. Harlan Community (2-1)

Matthew Sorfonden had a team-high 11 tackles as the Cyclones limited a potent Glenwood offense to 233 total yards.

17. ADM (2-1)

With Iowa recruit Brevin Doll lost early to injury, QB Aiden Flora turned in an incredible offensive effort in a 38-31 loss to Lewis Central, rushing 28 times for 334 yards and three TDs, and throwing for another 78.

18. Grundy Center (3-0)

Justin Knaack rushed for 119 yards and two scores in a 38-6 win over Pella Christian.

19. Johnston (2-1)

Dragons rebounded from their loss to Cedar Falls with a big 21-9 win over West Des Moines Valley, as Will Nuss threw for 193 yards and a touchdown.

20. West Des Moines Valley (0-3)

Another big challenge for the Tigers this week, as they travel to 2-1 Waukee.

21. Underwood (2-1)

Sophomore Garrett Luett is blossoming into one of 1A’s top QBs, ranking second in his class in passing yards (697) through three weeks.

22. Pleasant Valley (2-1)

Spartans ran wild for 516 yards in a 56-39 win over Iowa City Liberty. Tyge Lyon (26-208), Coy Kipper (14-136) and David Gorsline (4-127) all eclipsed the century mark.

23. Cedar Rapids Kennedy (1-2)

Vincenzo Gianforte threw for 269 yards and three touchdowns as the Cougars turned in an impressive 34-0 win over Linn-Mar.

24. Glenwood (2-1)

Gallant effort by the Rams in their 17-14 loss to Harlan, holding the talented Cyclones to 236 yards of total offense.

25. North Polk (2-1)

Comets remain a contender in 4A, despite the heartbreaking 21-20 loss to No. 12 Webster City.
