It is officially time for the postseason in Iowa as Week 9 of the 2023 Iowa high school football season gets underway Friday night (October 20) with first-round matchups in several classifications.

The A, 1A, 2A and 8-man classifications begin their playoff matchups this week while Classes 3A-5A will play their first-round games next week.
