Gianna Bennett, Des Moines Christian
Bennett had a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds, helping the Class 3A third-ranked Lions (18-1) hand Panorama, ranked No. 2 in Class 2A, its first loss of the season, 41-40.
Divine Bourrage, Davenport North
The junior star finished with 21 points, 11 assists, six rebounds and six steals for the 5A second-ranked Wildcats in an 82-23 win over Clinton.
Morgan Christian, Sioux Central
Christian, a senior, finished with 21 points and 12 rebounds and her double-double helped the Rebels, ranked fourth in Class 2A, to a 60-25 win over South O’Brien. Christian made four 3-pointers and added five steals and three assists.
Breeley Clayburg, Coon Rapids-Bayard
The senior scored 15 points and made it a double-double with 16 rebounds as the Class 1A 13th-ranked Crusaders edged No. 14 Woodbine, 41-39.
Katie Costello, Waterloo Christian
The senior had 27 points and 15 rebounds in a losing cause in a 51-42 loss to Riceville. Costello hit five 3-pointers and tacked on two steals.
Mya Crawford, Ankeny Centennial
The junior scored 19 points as the fifth-ranked Jaguars downed No. 8 Ankeny, 53-45, in a battle of state-ranked 5A teams. Crawford was 6 of 10 from the field and 7 of 10 from the free throw line.
Ashlyn Davis, Westwood
The junior scored 22 points and snared 11 rebounds as the Rebels moved into the championship game of the Western Valley Conference tournament with a 51-15 rout of West Monona. Westwood is unbeaten in 16 games.
Lindsey Davis, Nodaway Valley
The senior erupted for 44 points as the Wolverines, ranked sixth in Class 2A, rolled to an 86-24 win over Central Decatur. Davis hit five 3-pointers while adding nine steals, seven rebounds and seven assists.
Tillotti Fair, Riceville
The junior registered a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds, leading the Class 1A 10th-ranked Wildcats past Waterloo Christian, 51-42.
Lindsey Haken, George-Little Rock
The sophomore hit for a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds for the 15th-ranked (Class 1A) Mustangs in a 60-54 win over Harris-Lake Park. Haken was 15-for-20 from the free throw line.
Kinzee Hinders, Newell-Fonda
The junior charted a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds as the Mustangs rolled past Alta-Aurelia, 84-44. Hinders also had two steals and a blocked shot.
Elise Jaeger, West Des Moines Valley
The senior had a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds as the Tigers clipped Cedar Rapids Prairie, 71-69, ending Prairie’s 12-game winning streak.
Jayden Kuper, Monticello
The junior had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds, leading the Class 3A ninth-ranked Panthers to a 54-38 win over Northeast. Kuper also had seven steals and four assists.
Brooke Larsen, Lewis Central
The junior had 21 points and seven rebounds, leading the Class 4A eighth-ranked Titans to a 43-35 win over Harlan, ranked sixth in 3A.
Callie Levin, Solon
The senior and future Iowa Hawkeye threw in 30 points and fed Kobi Lietz for a game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer as the Class 3A fourth-ranked Spartans edged No. 2 Mount Vernon, 55-54.
Matilde Motta, Roland-Story
The junior had 21 points, nine rebounds and eight stills, narrowly missing a triple-double in the Norsemen’s 63-54 victory over West Marshall. For good measure, Motta dished out four assists.
Charlie Pryor, Woodbine
Although the state-ranked Tigers dropped a 66-53 contest to Exira-EHK, Pryor scored 18 points to become the first Tiger in girls 5-player basketball to eclipse 1,000 points.
Jadyn Sellers, Panorama
The senior posted a double-double, scoring 19 points and grabbing 10 rebounds as the Class 2A second-ranked Panthers topped Woodward-Granger, 70-48. The 5-10 Sellers also blocked three shots.
Reggi Spotts, Mason City
The senior contributed 23 points and 10 rebounds and her double-double lifted the Riverhawks, ranked No. 6 in Class 4A, to a 56-46 win over Des Moines Roosevelt. Spotts tacked on three steals and two assists for 16-2 Mason City.
Brooklyn Stanley, Sioux City Bishop Heelan
The senior, who recently surpassed 1,000 points for her career, tossed in 23 for the 4A third-ranked Crusaders in a 74-28 rout of Sioux City West. Stanley, who made four 3-pointers, also handed out eight assists.
Eva Steffensen, CAM
The senior had a double-double with 26 points and 11 rebounds in the 18-2 Cougars’ 67-55 win over Exira-EHK. The 5-9 Steffensen added five assists, three steals and three blocked shots for Class 1A ninth-ranked CAM.
Haylee Stokes, Estherville-Lincoln Central
The junior standout fired in 31 points, leading the Midgets to a 62-40 win over Spirit Lake. Stokes also had eight rebounds and seven assists, while teammate Rylee Jager contributed 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Abby Tuttle, North Polk
The junior rang up 22 points to go along with six assists in the Class 4A fifth-ranked Comets’ 48-42 win over Ballard. Tuttle cashed in on eight of nine free throws.
Quinn Vice, Pleasant Valley
The junior had 21 points and six rebounds, helping the 5A sixth-ranked Spartans defeat Davenport Assumption, 57-22. Vice made five 3-pointers and added three steals and a block.
Izzy Weldon, Fremont-Mills
The senior finished with 16 points, six rebounds and five assists for the unbeaten and 12th-ranked (1A) Knights in a 73-32 victory over Essex.
Carson Wellhausen, Clarinda
The sophomore double-doubled with 20 points and 16 rebounds, leading the Cardinals to a 66-63 victory over Clarke. The 6-foot-1 Wellhausen had 10 offensive rebounds and six blocked shots.
