Game respected game at a Super Bowl 58 media event Tuesday in Las Vegas.
Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes had high praise for University of Iowa women's college basketball phenom Caitlin Clark.
"Just a tremendous player -tremendous person. When I met with her and talked, You can tell she loves the game, and she loves playing at Iowa," he told the media. "She is going to be one of the best college basketball players to play. Then, she is going to go to the WNBA and dominate. Hopefully, I will never have to play her one-on-one because she will be getting buckets on me."
This season Clark, who grew up in West Des Moines, Iowa and starred at Dowling Catholic, is averaging 32.4 points, 7 rebounds and 7.9 assists per game for the No.2-ranked Hawkeyes.
