Here are some stars from the past week's high school boys basketball games across Iowa.

Jayden Calabro, Council Bluffs Thomas Jefferson

The 5-8 senior guard erupted for 51 points, leading the Yellow Jackets to a 78-51 win over Omaha Northwest. Calabro was 15 of 33 from the field and 14 of 19 from the free throw line, nailing seven 3-pointers.

Ryan Clair, East Sac County

Clair, a sophomore, finished with 22 points, eight rebounds and five assists as the Raiders closed the regular season at 17-4 with a 75-54 win over MVAOCOU. Clair missed just twice in 12 shot attempts.

Cyrus Courtney, Cedar Rapids Kennedy

The senior scored a career-high 26 points as the Class 4A top-ranked Cougars beat second-ranked Iowa City West, 71-57. Courtney made 11 of 15 shots, including 3 of 4 3-pointers, leading unbeaten Kennedy to its 38th straight regular-season win.

Camden Davis, Hudson

Davis scored 22 points for the Class 2A second-ranked Pirates in an 84-57 win over Union. The senior hit 8 of 12 shots and added eight rebounds as Hudson won its 20th game of the season.

Drew Eilers, Gladbrook-Reinbeck

The junior had a double-double with 17 points and 15 rebounds for the Rebels in a 77-50 win over Colo-NESCO. Eilers was 8-for-11 from the field and grabbed six offensive rebounds.

Carter Gruver, Woodbine

The junior joined the 1,000-point club with 22 points, helping the 19-2 Tigers down Council Bluffs St. Albert, 66-52. Gruver also handed out six assists.

Luke Hellige, Holy Trinity Catholic

Hellige, a 6-4 junior guard, poured in 45 points for the Crusaders in a 107-46 win over Highland. Hellige was 18-for-27 from the field (six 3-pointers) and completed a double-double with 12 rebounds.

Brayden Hoben, Grand View Christian

The sophomore posted a double-double of 27 points and 10 rebounds, leading the Thunder to a 72-67 win over Grundy Center, ranked 10th in Class 2A. Hoben nailed six 3-pointers.

Billie Kindred, Keota

The junior hauled in 18 rebounds to complete a double-double as the unbeaten and sixth-ranked (Class 1A) Eagles soared to a 75-23 victory over Sigourney-Keota. Kindred scored 14 points and also handed our six assists.

Brody Lager, Missouri Valley

The senior scored 30 points and snared 12 rebounds, becoming his school’s all-time leading scorer in the process. Lager made five 3-pointers and tacked on four steals in his final home game.

Nate Lampe, Newton

The senior scored 24 points for the Cardinals in a 60-47 victory over a 17-win Clarke squad. Lampe hit 9 of 13 shots, including five 3-pointers.

Owen Larsen, Estherville-Lincoln Central

Larsen, the leading scorer in the state with a 28.7 average, had 23 points, 11 assists and nine steals in a 97-64 win over Pocahontas Area.

Alec Lovely, Treynor

Lovely, a sophomore, scored 26 points for the Class 2A No. 7 Cardinals in an 84-56 victory over Harlan. Lovely hit 9 of 13 shots, including five 3-pointers, as Treynor ended the regular season at 18-4.

Eli Menke, Lake Mills

The senior popped in 24 points on 9 of 13 shooting, leading the Class 1A fourth-ranked Bulldogs to a 101-51 trouncing of Mason City Newman. Lake Mills closed the regular season with a 20-1 record.

Jack Miller, Jesup

The senior scored 27 points, leading the J-Hawks to a 76-64 triumph over Waukon. Miller is the fourth-leading scorer in Class 2A with a 26.1 average.

Dawson Nelson, Nodaway Valley

The senior poured in 44 points, helping the Wolverines clip Interstate 35, 66-64. Nelson was 17-for-30 from the field, made all 10 of his free throws and completed a double-double with 10 rebounds.

Landon Osberg, West Central Valley

The senior fired in 31 points, leading the Wildcats to a 59-46 win over Colfax-Mingo. Osberg added seven rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Jaxon Paulsrud, Cherokee

The sophomore fell just shy of a triple-double in the Braves’ 87-51 victory over Alta-Aurelia. Paulsrud finished with 17 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists. And, if that wasn’t enough, he added seven steals.

Ty Pflughaupt, North Linn

The senior charted a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds, leading the Class 1A top-ranked Lynx (19-1) to a 70-59 win over Dunkerton (17-4). Pflughaupt hit 9 of 14 shots and also handed out three assists.

Bryer Putman, Wilton

Putman, a 6-foot-5 freshman, had 22 points and 21 rebounds as the Beavers beat Camanche, 83-72. Putman added four assists, three blocks and three steals.

Preston Ries, Monticello

The senior Iowa football recruit totaled 36 points and seven rebounds for the Class 2A ninth-ranked Panthers in a 77-64 win over Goose Lake Northeast. Ries made 11 of 14 shot (5 of 8 3-pointers) and 9 of 10 free throws as Monticello closed the regular season at 18-2.

Harrison Rhone, Colfax-Mingo

The junior fired in 32 points in an 85-41 win over Twin Cedars. Rhone was 13-for-23 from the field with four 3-pointers and tacked on seven steals, three rebounds snd two assists.

Mason Smith, Chariton

The senior tossed in 30 points, leading the Chargers to a 92-76 win over Mormon Trail. Smith hit 13 of 18 shots, adding five steals, three rebounds and three assists.

Dylan Stecker, Spirit Lake

The senior scored 26 points and raked down 17 rebounds, leading the Indians past Emmetsburg, 61-57. Spirit Lake outscored 17-win E’burg, 18-8, in the fourth quarter.

Hudson Wilmes, Winterset

The senior hit for 30 points in a 77-64 victory over Ballard. Wilmes made 9 of 15 shots and 10 of 12 free throws, while also grabbing six rebounds.
