LSU running back Trey Holly arrested in connection with shooting

Trey Holly has been charged with three felonies

LSU Tigers running back Trey Holly was arrested Thursday in connection to a shooting at the Union Parish apartment complex (Louisiana) that injured two people, according to The Advocate.

Holly, who turned himself in to police, has been charged with three felony counts - attempted second-degree murder, aggravated criminal damage to property and illegal use of a weapon.

The investigation is ongoing. 

According to ESPN's Pete Thamel, Holly has been indefinitely suspended from all team activities. 

The 5-foot-7, 192-pound freshman rushed for 110 yards and a score on 10 carries last season.

As a  Union Parish (Louisiana) high school prospect in the class of 2023, Holly broke the Louisiana career rushing yards record, accumulating 10,523 yards and 146 touchdowns on 1,228 carries. 

He was rated the nation's No. 15 running back in his class.
