Congratulations to Bedford girls basketball forward Marina Greaneyfor being voted SBLive’s Massachusetts High School Athlete of the Week for Dec. 27-Jan. 2!

The junior led all scorers with 18 points along with 7 steals and 5 rebounds in a 45-38 win over Burlington.

Greaney received 40% of the vote, beating out Whitman-Hanson's Joe Culley who finished second with 32%. Bishop Feehan's Camryn Fauria finished third with 12% and Duxbury's Sam Mazanec finished fourth with 8%

Brady Leonard, Essex Tech Boys Hockey: Had a goal in a 2-2 tie against Swampscott.

Joey Dywer Jr., Pembroke Boys Basketball: Helped the Titans win their own holiday tournament with 22 points in the final against Archbishop Williams.

Niya Morgan, St. Mary’s Girls Basketball: Led the Spartans with 13 points in a 79-25 win over Lynn Classical to capture seventh straight Boverini Tournament title.

Armani Perkins, Holbrook Boys Basketball: Scored 36 points in a 70-63 win over Diman. 

Shea Kelleher, Whitman Hanson/ Silver Lake Girls Hockey: Recorded a hat-trick (three goals) in a 3-4 loss against Hanover.

Joe Culley, Whitman-Hanson Boys Hockey: Scored 2 goals in a 2-1 win over Pembroke.

Sam Mazanec, Duxbury Boys Hockey: The Dragons’ junior goalie made 22 saves in a 5-1 win over Barnstable.

Tommy Peterson, Falmouth Boys Hockey: Scored the game-winning goal in overtime to lead Falmouth past Bridgewater Raynham 3-2.

Caroline Peper, Oliver Ames Girls Basketball: Had 19 points, 4 blocks, and 4 steals in a 61-37 win over Walpole.

Camryn Fauria, Bishop Feehan Girls Basketball: Scored 19 points in a 78-41 win over Attleboro.
