Congratulations to Sandwich girls lacrosse attack/midfielder Claire Moniz for being voted SBLive’s Massachusetts High School Athlete of the Week for April 4-10!

The senior netted eight goals and added an assist in a dominant 14-3 win over Pembroke.

Moniz ran away with this week's honor, receiving 90.16% of the total vote.

John Sellon, Abington baseball: Sellon threw a complete game and struck out seven batters to pick up his first varsity win over Rockland.

Luke Allen, BC High boys lacrosse: The freshman scored three goals and had two assists in a 15-7 win against Catholic Memorial.

James Sullivan, Scituate boys lacrosse: The sophomore tallied six points to lead Scituate to a 10-8 win over Hanover.

Henry Crean, Hingham lacrosse: Crean scored three goals in a 10-4 win against Needham.

Thomas Mitchell, Milton baseball: Mitchell recorded the win on the mound by throwing a complete game with three strikeouts in a 3-0 victory against Boston Latin.

Julia Hicks, Dennis-Yarmouth softball: Hicks recorded the win in the circle and struck out 10 batters against Monomoy.

Bridget Mulkeen, Westwood softball: In her first varsity game, Mulkeen threw a no-hitter and struck out 15 batters in Westwood's 8-0 shutout win.

Anna Hertzel, Sharon girls lacrosse: Hertzel scored three goals and added an assist in Sharon's loss to Norwood.

Caroline Peper & Morgan Vasiliou, Oliver Ames girls tennis: The doubles duo won in straight sets to give Oliver Ames their sole point in a 4-1 loss to Franklin.
