The Hartland Eagles defeated the Brownstown Woodhaven Warriors 9-1 in the Division 1 MHSAA softball finals on Saturday at Secchia Stadium.

The Eagles tallied nine hits in six innings, and they scored in four of six innings.

Sadie Malik and Riley Phillips finished with two RBIs. Kate McIntyre, Jaylen Nokovich, Reese Dunny and Kylie Swierkos all hit one RBI.

Swierkos pitched seven innings, and she allowed one earned run while striking out 13 batters.

Alaina Craig hit the only RBI for Brownstown Woodhaven.
