Watch: Michigan's Donovan Edwards scores second TD in CFP National Championship

The West Bloomfield product continues to make an impact with another 40-yard in the College Football Playoff National Championship

The Michigan Wolverines' Donovan Edwards scored his second touchdown of the first quarter in the College Football Playoff National Championship.

The West Bloomfield high school graduate scored his second 40-plus yards touchdown of the game. His first was for 41 yards, and his second was for 46 yards, both in the top three in CFP history.

The run gave the Wolverines a 7-0 lead in the game. Edwards has rushed for 393 yards entering the game with three touchdowns. This touchdown run is his longest of the season with his previous being 22.

Edwards attended West Bloomfield high school, and he's one of four West Bloomfield athletes on the Wolverines.
