The Dearborn Pioneers (14-0) continue to impress, and they are up to No. 3 in the Power 25. 

The North Farmington Raiders (13-1) dropped their first game of the season to Grand Rapids Northview, who jumps to No. 10. The Raiders fall to No. 6.

No. 1 St. Mary’s Prep (12-1)

St. Mary’s continues to dominate, as it beat De La Salle 68-55 on Tuesday and Central Catholic (Ohio) 72-47 on Friday. The Eaglets have now won nine games in a row since their only loss of the season against U of D on December 18. The Eaglets have a chance to complete a regular season sweep of Detroit Catholic Central when they visit the Shamrocks on January 30. 

No. 2 Warren Lincoln (12-2)

The Abes were able to win all three of their games last week, capping it off with a 62-54 win over East Lansing on Saturday. Lincoln has scored over 60 points in three straight games, tying its longest streak of the season. The Abes have to visit New Haven next on January 30. 

No. 3 Dearborn (14-0)

Dearborn remained one of the best scoring teams in the state as it was able to defeat Traverse City Central 96-52 on Saturday. Over their last two games, the Pioneers have outscored Traverse City West and Traverse City Central 166-105. Dearborn has three straight home games on the horizon, beginning with Livonia Franklin on January 30. 

No. 4 Muskegon (9-0)

Muskegon demolished Union 73-23 on Tuesday, and its next game wasn’t much closer, beating Wyoming 84-46 on Friday. The Big Reds haven’t won a game by less than ten points since they beat Rockford 52-51 on December 15. Muskegon has three home games in a row coming up, and Reeths-Puffer is the first team coming to town on January 30. 

No. 5 East Lansing (13-1)

East Lansing dropped its first game of the season on Saturday, losing to Warren Lincoln 62-54. It was the Trojan’s lowest scoring game since they beat DeWitt 52-29 on January 18. East Lansing will look to get back in the win column when they play Grand Ledge on January 30. 

No. 6 North Farmington (13-1)

North Farmington lost its first game of the season to Grand Rapids Northview by a score of 57-51 on Saturday. It was just the second game this season in which the Raiders failed to score more than 52 points, the previous coming in a 50-35 win over Rochester Adams on January 18. North Farmington will have a chance to get back on the winning side of things when it visits Oak Park on February 1. 

No. 7 U of D Jesuit (12-3)

The Cubs were able to beat St. John’s Jesuit (Ohio) 72-63 on Tuesday and St. Francis de Sales (Ohio) 53-45 on Friday. 53 points is the least amount U of D has scored in a game this season, with the previous low being 56 in a win over Brother Rice on January 16. The Cubs have a chance to complete a regular season sweep against De La Salle on January 30. 

No. 8 Grand Rapids Christian (10-1)

The Eagles defeated Lowell 68-49 on Tuesday, as well as Forest Hills Central 52-34 on Friday. 34 points is the least Christian has allowed since it only gave up 32 in a win over East Grand Rapids on January 16. The Eagles are set to host Grandville next on January 30. 

No. 9 Brother Rice (11-4)

The Warriors were able to beat Central Catholic (Ohio) 71-35 on Tuesday, and they also handled Detroit Catholic Central 62-39 on Friday. Not far removed from its four game losing streak, Brother Rice appears to be coming back into form as the playoffs edge closer. The Warriors will host St. Francis de Sales (Ohio) on January 30 before a rematch with St. Mary’s Prep on February 2. 

No. 10 Grand Rapids Northview (12-1)

The Wildcats handed North Farmington its first loss of the season on Saturday by a score of 57-51. Northview has now won three games straight since suffering its only loss of the season to Detroit King by a score of 54-53 on January 20. The Wildcats have two straight home games coming up, beginning with Forest Hills Northern (2/2) and ending with Ann Arbor Huron (2/3). 

No. 11 Detroit Catholic Central (11-5)

The Shamrocks lost to Brother Rice 62-39 on Friday. It was Catholic Central’s first loss since it was defeated by De La Salle 72-71 on January 16. The Shamrocks have a tough task ahead if they want to get back in the win column, as St. Mary’s Prep comes to town on January 30. 

No. 12 Cass Tech (12-1)

The Technicians were able to beat Detroit King 50-45 in overtime on Wednesday. Cass Tech also defeated Pershing (83-43) on Friday and Carman-Ainsworth (71-62) on Saturday. Cass Tech is slated to play Southeastern next on January 30. 

No. 13 Utica (15-0)

Utica was able to remain undefeated after beating Lake Shore (57-29), Utica Ford (70-62) and Cousino (59-46) last week. The Chieftains haven’t beaten anyone by less than ten points since their 51-45 win over Anchor Bay on December 19. Utica is set for a rematch with Lake Shore on January 30. 

No. 14 Ann Arbor Huron (11-2)

The River Rats beat Lincoln on Wednesday (58-45), Saline on Friday (65-52) and Hamtramck on Saturday (68-47). Ann Arbor Huron hasn’t allowed more than 52 points since its 61-55 loss to Ann Arbor Pioneer on January 17. The RIver Rats are set to visit Dexter next on January 30. 

No. 15 De La Salle (9-6)

De La Salle lost to St. Mary’s Prep on Tuesday (68-55) and St. John’s Jesuit of Ohio on Friday (56-50), but it was able to beat Heritage (75-53) on Wednesday. The Pilots are 3-5 since entering January, and their last game of the month comes against a tough U of D Jesuit team on January 30. 

No. 16 Whitehall (14-0)

The Vikings edged out Cadillac 58-56 on Tuesday, and they took care of Newaygo 66-47 on Thursday. The two point win over Cadillac is tied for the Vikings’ lowest margin of victory this season, the first coming against Ludington (64-62) on January 5. Whitehall has to visit Mona Shores next on January 30.

No. 17 Detroit King (12-4)

The Crusaders lost to Cass Tech 50-45 in overtime on Wednesday, but they were able to beat Denby 68-35 on Friday. Unless it schedules additional games, Detroit King only has one more game this season against Grand Rapids Catholic Central on February 17. 

No. 18 Summit Academy North (13-1)

Summit Academy North defeated University Prep Art and Design (UPAD) 72-51 on Friday. 72 points is the least Summit Academy North has scored in a game since its 49-40 win against Hamtramck on December 28. 

No. 19 Rockford (11-3)

The Rams beat West Ottawa 76-59 on Tuesday, and they also defeated Jenison 80-51 on Friday. Rockford has scored over 50 points in every game since its 49-43 win over Zeeland West on December 28. The Rams have to visit East Grand Rapids next on January 30. 

No. 20 Grand Rapids Catholic Central (8-3)

The Cougars were able to beat Ottawa Hills on Tuesday (65-53), as well as Wayland (67-45) on Friday. Catholic Central has now won eight games in a row since it lost 63-62 to Davison on December 29. The Cougars will host Muskegon Heights next on January 29. 

No. 21 Lansing Waverly (10-4)

Waverly was able to defeat DeWitt 66-56 on Thursday. The Warriors are 2-2 in their last four games, and they’ll need more consistency when the playoffs roll around. Waverly is set to visit Everett next on January 30. 

No. 22 Saginaw Heritage (7-3)

The Hawks lost to De La Salle on Wednesday by a score of 75-53. 75 points is the most Heritage has given up in a game this season, with the previous high of 72 coming in a loss to Grand Blanc on January 16. The Hawks will host Midland next on January 30.

No. 23 Davison (8-3)

The Cardinals beat Carman-Ainsworth 82-52 on Wednesday and Mt. Pleasant 78-63 on Friday. Davison has won three games in a row since it lost to Detroit Catholic Central 80-65 on January 6. The Cardinals are set to Flint Powers Catholic next on January 30. 

No. 24 Walled Lake Central (14-1)

The Vikings demolished South Lyon on Tuesday (63-40) and Walled Lake Northern on Friday (50-35). No team has scored more than 44 points on Walled Lake Central since it beat Kearsley 57-55 in overtime on December 21. Walled Lake Central hosts Kettering next on January 30. 

No. 25 Port Huron Northern (13-2)

The Huskies were able to defeat Utica Eisenhower 66-52 on Friday. Port Huron Northern has rattled off ten wins in a row since it lost to Warren Lincoln on December 15. The Huskies are set to visit Romeo next on January 30.
