Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Minnesota High School Soccer Team of the Week for Sept. 11-17. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page.

Voting will conclude on Sunday, Sept. 17 at 11:59 p.m.

East Ridge (boys)

The Raptors defeated then No. 6-3A Woodbury 2-1 on Monday, Sept. 11.

Waconia (boys)

Waconia had two draws and a win last week. It drew against No. 4-2A Benilde-St. Margaret’s and No. 3-3A Orono. The Wildcats also defeated Shakopee 3-1

Blake (boys)

The Bears defeated then No. 10-1A Providence Academy 4-0 and No. 5-1A St. Paul Academy 4-2.

Minnetonka (boys)

The Skippers drew with No. 1-3A Wayzata 1-1. Evan Afdahl scored the goal for the Skippers. It’s the Trojans only blemish on the season. Minnetonka also drew 1-1 with Hopkins during the week.

St. Louis Park (boys)

St. Louis Park defeated No. 4-2A Benilde-St. Margaret’s 3-1 on Thursday, Sept. 14. It also knocked off Bloomington Jefferson 4-0 on Tuesday, Sept. 12.

Breck (boys)

Breck had a big win over No. 2-1A Minnehaha Academy, 3-1, on Thursday, Sept. 14. Paddy Greene, Sam Bae and David Shin scored in the big game.

St. Paul Academy (girls)

The then No. 4-1A Spartans drew 4-4 in a game against then No. 1-1A Minnehaha Academy. Each team scored two goals in each half. 

Sawyer Bollinger-Danielson scored two goals for the Spartans. Sofia Johnson and Clare Ryan Bradley scored

Mahtomedi (girls)

The Zephyrs defeated then No. 3-2A Hill-Murray 2-0 on Thursday, Sept. 14. Mahtomedi also defeated Tartan on Sept. 11 and defeated No. 10-2A Cretin-Derham Hall 4-1 on Sept. 16.

Grand Rapids (girls)

The Thunderhawks drew 0-0 with then No. 8-1A Esko on Tuesday, Sept. 12. The Grand Rapids goalkeeper saved all eight shots on goal from Esko.

Delano (girls)

The Tigers drew with then No. 3-1A Southwest Christian 2-2 on Saturday, Sept. 26. Marin Johnson and Kennedy Tschudi scored for the Tigers.
