Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Minnesota High School Volleyball Team of the Week for Sept. 18-24. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page.

After a short slump in the beginning of September, the Knights have hit their groove. St. Michael-Albertville had a perfect 2-0 week, highlighted by a quality win against Buffalo.
The No. 1 team in Class 1A continued to show why with a 7-0 week. Their wins include ones over No. 10-1A Renville, No. 4-1A Russell-Tyler-Ruthton and No. 2-1A Mabel-Canton.
Yes, Mabel-Canton fell to No. 1-1A Minneota, but it still had a great week. The XXX defeated six teams last week. They defeated No. 13-1A Cleveland and No. 3-1A Mayer Lutheran.
Another Class 1A team, the XXX went 6-1 with a win over No. 9-1A Bethlehem Academy, No. 5-1A Fillmore Central and No. 3-1A Mayer Lutheran.
The Huskies knocked off No. 1-2A Pequot Lakes on Sept. 19. They also bagged a win over No. 13-2A Concordia and No. 11-2A Nova Classical.
Rush City had two big wins last week. The XXX had wins over No. 6-2A Cannon Falls and a win over No. 5-2A Albany.
The Red Knight went 7-0 last week with wins over Edina, Chanhassen, Edison, Maranatha Christian, two wins over Como Park, and Minneapolis South.
The Irish had the upset over No. 4-4A Lakeville South on Sept. 19. They also defeated Apple Valley.
The Royals make the list for the second week in a row. They went 7-0 on the week and defeated No. 5-3A Detroit Lakes and No. 9-4A Maple Grove.
The Trojans are the class of Minnesota and one of the top teams in the nation. The Trojans defeated No. 4-4A East Ridge, No. 3-3A Northfield, No. 6-4A Lakeville North and No. 3-4A Eagan.
