Minnetonka took the lead on a touchdown pass from quarterback Caleb Francois to Hudson Poole for a 7-0 lead with two minutes, 15 seconds remaining in the first quarter.

The Skippers scored again, this time with 1:37 left in the first half, from a touchdown pass from Francois to Joran Thomsen for a 14-0 lead.

The game was delayed by lightning for over an hour.
