Here are the candidates for SBLive's Minnesota high school volleyball Player of the Week from Sept. 25-30.

Ellery Clark, Benilde-St. Margaret’s

Clark had a season-high 46 assists in a 3-2 win against Orono on Sept. 28. She had 14 digs in the game.

Liv Garnett, Minneapolis Southwest

Garnett had seven service aces in a win over Minneapolis South. She also finished with seven kills and four digs.

Ella Joesting, Prior Lake

Joesting had 28 digs in a 3-1 win over Farmington on Sept.27. She also had 17 digs in a win against Eastview on Sept. 26.

Mesaiya Bettis, Burnsville

Bettis had 22 kills in a 1-3 loss to Lakeville North on Sept. 26. She had two aces and 11 digs in the match.

Grace Therrien, Buffalo

Therrien had 19 digs in a 3-0 win over Hopkins on Sept. 26. She also had seven digs in a 3-1 win over Edina on Sept. 28.

Caroline Banks, Edina

Banks finished with 47 assists in a 3-0 win over Eden Prairie on Sept. 26. She also finished with one ace, three digs and one kill. She then added 17 assists in a loss to Buffalo on Sept. 28. She had seven digs in that game. 

Jocelyn Mikulich, Greenway

Mikulich had 33 kills and 33 digs in a 3-1 win over Walker-Hackensack-Akeley on Sept. 25. She also had 13 and 19 digs in games against Duluth East and Mesabi East, respectively. 

Alice Steman, Cambridge-Isanti

The senior logged 19 blocks over five matches played on Sept. 30. The performance propelled her into first in Minnesota with 61 blocks. 

Else Kunze-Hoeg, Mounds Park Academy

The senior setter had 30 assists, 16 digs and eight aces in a 3-2 win over St. Agnes on Sept. 30, and 22 assists, 19 digs, 10 kills and five assists in a 3-0 victory over Blake, Sept. 27. She leads the state with 78 service aces. 

Izabelle Keaveny, Mayer Lutheran

The sophomore had 27 assists in a 3-0 win at Bethlehem Academy, Sept. 26, and 29 assists in another 3-0 win over Lester Prairie, Sept. 28. Her 482 assists rank fourth in Minnesota.

Kyla Hellickson, Fillmore Central

The libero had 25 digs in a 3-1 win at La Crescent-Hokah on Sept. 26 and another 19 digs in a 3-0 victory over Stewartville on Sept. 28. She’s second in the state with 300 digs.

Sonja Laaksonen, Holy Family

The junior committed to Western Kentucky had 28 kills, 21 digs and three digs in a 3-2 win at Norwood Young America, Sept. 25. She followed that up with 34 kills in a 3-2 victory at Mound Westonka the next day, and 22 kills in a draw at Hudson, Sept. 28. She’s second in Minnesota with 300 kills.
