Minnesota (MSHSL) boys high school basketball state tournament live updates: Day 1 scores, results, recaps (3/20/2024)
MINNEAPOLIS -- The MSHSL boys basketball state tournament begins on Wednesday, March 20 at Target Center and Williams Arena.
The Class 4A quarterfinals will be played at Target Center. The Class 3A quarterfinals will be played at Williams Arena.
The Class 2A quarterfinals will be split between Target Center and Williams Arena.

Class 4A Quarterfinals
The defending champions Wayzata Trojans handled the Rogers Royals in the quarterfinals. The Trojans entered with a 10-point halftime lead. Jackson McAndrews and Isaac Olmstead finished with 17 points.
Christian Wagner-Walthall led the Royals with 14 points.
No. 5 Cretin-Derham Hall 57, No. 4 Farmington 56
Eagan 73, No. 2 Park Center 70
No. 3 Minnetonka 83, Coon Rapids 36
Greyson Uelmen and Jordan Cain each scored 19 points as the Skippers crushed Coon Rapids. The Skippers shot 53 percent in the game compared to Coon Rapids' 35.7 percent.
Class 3A Quarterfinals
No. 1 Totino-Grace 57, Stewartville 48
Stewartvillle kept it close with with the No. 1-seed in Class 3A. The Eagles only led by two at halftime, but Chase Watley and Isaiah Johnson controlled the second half. They both finished with 13 points.
Henry Tschetter finished with 15 points for the Tigers.
No. 5 DeLaSalle 70, No. 4 Orono 64
Jaeden Udean led the Islanders with 23 points as they advance to another state tournament semifinals.
Nolan Groves led Orono with 18 points.
No. 2 Mankato East 80, Chisago Lakes 41
The Cougars scored 40 points in each half as they downed the outmatched Wildcats. Mankato East dominated by the basket. The Cougars finished with 52 points in the paint to the Wildcats 24. .
Brogan Madson scored 15 points to lead the Cougars.
No. 3 Alexandria 72, Minneapolis South 70
Class 2A Quarterfinals
Breck had a commanding 45-21 lead at halftime, and it continued to dominate in the second half.
JP Musoke and Hanif Muhammad had 13 points each to lead the Mustangs.
Laird Keeton had 11 points for Waseca.
No. 2 Albany 87, Jackson County Central 66
Zeke Austin scored 32 points for Albany as they came back from being down 46-33 at halftime. The Huskies dominated the second half as Jackson County went 7-for-22 in the half.
No. 5 Minnehaha Academy 63, No. 4 Pequot Lakes 47
Lorenzo Levy led the Red Hawks with 18 points as Minnehaha Academy controlled the game. Harrison Kennen scored 10 points for Pequot Lakes.
No. 3 Lake City 72 Pelican Rapids 61 (OT)
The Tigers outscore the Vikings 12-1 in the overtime period for the win.
Hunter Lorenson scored a game-high 19 points for Lake City. Timmy Guler scored 18 points for Pelican Rapids.
