The No. 3 Lakeville North Panthers (3-0) defeated the No. 13 Lakeville South Cougars (1-2) 35-31 at Lakeville South High School in a top game of Week 3 of Minnesota high school football.

Lakeville North drove down the field in the final two minutes to win the game. Lakeville North quarterback Riley Grossman found Reece Hunt for a 10-yard touchdown with 16 seconds remaining. The win snaps a 5-game losing streak in the rivalry for Lakeville North.

FUMBLE LAKEVILLE NORTH! North snaps a punt too high and it goes over Grossman's head and rolls to the Panthers' 9-yard line where Lakeville South recovers.

Second Quarter Updates

TOUCHDOWN LAKEVILLE SOUTH! North stopped South running back Connor Cade on the 1-yard line with no timeouts. The clock hit zero, but the officials put one second on the clock due a false start when South tried to rush to the line for one final play. Then, South quarterback Gaven Dean found Coltin Smith in the end zone to tie the game at 14 on the final play of the half.

TOUCHDOWN LAKEVILLE SOUTH! Bo Bokman picks up a punt at his own 4-yard line and returns it for a touchdown. Lakeville North leads 14-7.
