JACKSON — The MHSAA has reached an agreement with the University of Southern Mississippi to move the 2021 championship games for all six classifications to M.M. Roberts Stadium on Dec. 3 and Dec. 4.

A source with knowledge of the discussions said Thursday the move was made to avoid a potential scheduling conflict with Jackson State, which would host the SWAC Championship game if the Tigers finish the regular season with the best record in the league.

The game times will remain the same:

Friday, Dec. 3
Class 3A — 11 a.m.
Class 1A — 3 p.m.
Class 6A — 7 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 4
Class 4A — 11 a.m.
Class 2A — 3 p.m.
Class 5A — 7 p.m.

Tickets are already available for purchase via GoFan, but can also be purchased on site the day of the game.
