As the 2022 baseball season moved from March to April this week, the MHSAA baseball playoff picture started to come into focus. That included a big week for the teams in the SBLive Power 10.
The No. 9 Brandon Bulldogs clinched a first-round bye, joining top-ranked Northwest Rankin, No. 4 Madison Central, No. 6 New Hope, No. 7 West Lauderdale and No. 10 Lewisburg.
