Parkway South takes Class Two Missouri state swimming and diving championship

Kylee Sullivan won two events and joined two winning relays to power Parkway South in winning the Class Two Missouri State High School Activities Association Girls Swimming and Diving Championship this past weekend at the Rec-Plex in St. Peters, Mo. This is the first state championship for the Patriots.
Parkway South scored 245 points to claim the state title while holding off runner-up Cor Jesu, which scored 212 points. Park Hill South grabbed third place with 186 points with Kirkwood earning the fourth spot with 185 points and MICDS coming in fifth with 175.5 points.
Olivia Liddle from Rock Bridge took the state diving title with a score of 474.75. This is the second-highest score in state championship history. Liddle grabbed control of the meet with 214.05 points after the first five dives. She extended her lead after eight dives with 341.35 and held on over the final three dives to claim the title. Sydney Tolbert of Marquette took home second place with 405.30 points while Maggie Arceneaux of Lafayette took third with 388 points.
