Congratulations to Macks Creek girls basketball guard India Willis for being voted SBLive’s Missouri High School Athlete of the Week for Feb. 14-20!
The junior helped Harrisonville get through a low-scoring slugfest with 17 points and 13 rebounds during a 41-27 win over Excelsior Springs.
Willis ran away with this week's honor, receiving 60.36% of the total vote.

Jay Greiner, St. Joseph Lafayette boys wrestling
Greiner, a junior, broke the state’s record for most wins in a season at the MSHSAA Boys State Championships in Columbia. He used a 1-0 decision in the title match to nab his 61st win of the year and his first state championship.
Michael Howard, Plattsburg boys basketball
Howard had a monstrous outing during a 67-32 win over South Harrison with 33 points, 18 rebounds, nine assists and five steals.
Boston Sanders, Odessa boys basketball
Sanders dropped 25 points and five assists during a 53-50 win over Van Horn last Wednesday.
Kadie Rounkles, Tina-Avalon girls basketball
The junior has been a menace in the post this season, and Rounkles picked up her 22nd double-double of the year with 10 points and 10 rebounds despite a 53-43 loss to Polo.
Ikenna Ezeogu, Blue Springs boys basketball
Ezeogu had a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds during a 59-49 win over Liberty North last Tuesday.
Isa Odom, Heartland girls basketball
Odom, a freshman guard, had a 14-point, 12-assists double-double during the Mustangs’ 55-44 win over Eagle Ridge Christian.
Emmet Pearce, Barstow boys basketball
Barstow nabbed a 60-38 win over Summit Christian last Tuesday, and it was in large part due to Pearce’s 25 points and six steals.
Addison Brownfield, Boonville girls basketball
Brownfield did a little bit of everything during a 77-74 win over Southern Boone, scoring 29 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and dishing out seven assists.
Ade Popoola, Parkway North boys basketball
A 43-point, 12-rebound double-double courtesy of Popoola helped lead Parkway North to a 70-51 win over Clayton on Monday.
Angelina Vargas, Park Hill girls wrestling
Vargas, just a freshman, finished this season with a 41-1 record after winning first place with a 10-2 major decision in the first round of the title match at the MSHSAA Girls State Championships.
Oliver Kokal, Parkway Central boys basketball
Kokal used 26 points and eight rebounds to help will Parkway Central to a 57-36 win over Lutheran South last Tuesday.
Tara Masten, Parkview girls basketball
Masten, just a sophomore, dropped a game-high 36 points to go along with five assists and three rebounds despite an 86-68 loss to Camdenton.
Noah Omondi, Principia boys basketball
Despite a 71-61 loss to the Blue Knights last Tuesday, Omondi had 33 points and four rebounds.
Cierra Smith, Grandview girls basketball
Smith, a senior shooting guard, had 23 points, seven rebounds and three assists during a 63-15 win over Winnetonka.
Connor Turnbull, Fort Zumwalt North boys basketball
Turnbull was eyeing a triple-double during a 61-52 win over Liberty, as he finished with 34 points, 14 rebounds and eight blocks.
Wade Stanton, Mid-Buchanan boys wrestling
Stanton entered last weekend trying to defend the state title he won a year ago. He successfully did that, using a first-round fall to take home a first-place medal in Class 1’s 195-pound class.
Nathan Ryan, Troy Buchanan boys basketball
Ryan used 30 points and 11 rebounds to get a double-double and help lead Troy Buchanan to a 65-57 win over Battle last Wednesday.

Below, a senior, had 30 points and 11 rebounds en route to a double-double during Advance’s 57-44 win over Campbell.
Kyle Phipps, Hillsboro boys basketball
Phipps had one of the highest-scoring games on this week’s list with 40 points and four assists during a 93-26 win over Perryville last Friday.
Nicole Hagerman, Bronaugh girls basketball
Hagerman, a senior guard, had 29 points and 14 rebounds during a 52-48 win over Jefferson Independent day.
Tony Osburn, Mound City boys basketball
Another week, another eye-popping outing from Osburn. He had 40 points and five steals during a 71-46 win over North Andrew.
Kennedi Rowland, Blue Ridge Christian girls basketball
Rowland has used her farewell tour to push the Warriors to a record of 20-2 just before districts, and she had another standout performance with a season-high 24 points, four rebounds and four steals during a 61-5 win over Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis.
Kellen Thames, Pattonville boys basketball
Despite a 63-61 loss to Parkway Central, Thames kept Pattonville in the game with 34 points and nine rebounds.
