Congratulations to Francis Howell North girls basketball shooting guard Hannah Ermeling and Liberty boys basketball guard Bennett Stirtz for being voted SBLive’s Missouri High School Athletes of the Week for Feb. 21-27!

The girls basketball senior had 27 points and five rebounds despite a 53-49 loss to Orchard Farm last Wednesday.

The boys basketball senior did a little bit of everything during the Blue Jays’ 66-48 win over Blue Springs last Tuesday, scoring 20 points, grabbing four rebounds, and blocking three shots.

Ermeling and Stirtz each received 32% of the vote. If this were an election, we would have a run-off. Because it’s high school sports, we get to give out swag and awards to two great athletes!
