Incarnate Word won its fifth straight state title to finish atop the final SBLive Missouri girls Top 25 power rankings for the 2021-22 season. The Red Knights won their 68th consecutive game this past weekend in the Class 6 title game in Springfield. They own the longest winning streak in the nation. 

1. Incarnate Word Academy (29-0) 

The Red Knights defeated Kickapoo 67-50 to win the Class 6 title.

2. West Plains (27-4)

The Zizzers defeated Whitfield 50-37 to claim their third Class 5 state title.

3. Kickapoo (28-4)

The Lady Chiefs fell to IWA in the Class 6 state final game after beating Blue Springs South in the semifinals.

4. Whitfield (24-4)

The Warriors fell to West Plains in the Class 5 championship after defeating Webster Groves in the semifinals.

5. El Dorado Springs (29-3)

Season complete.

6. Webster Groves (25-6)

The Statesmen won the Class 5 third-place game over Smithville 54-33 after falling to Whitfield in the semifinals.

7. Blue Springs South (26-5)

The Jaguars defeated St. Joe’s in the Class 6 third-place game after falling to Kickapoo in the semifinals.

8. John Burroughs (22-4)

The Bombers won their first-ever state championship in girls basketball with a 54-46 win over Benton in the Class 4 title game.

9. Strafford (24-6)

Season complete.

10. Rock Bridge (26-2)

Season complete.

11. Ellington (25-5)

Season complete.

12. Leeton (24-3)

Season complete.

13. Benton (25-6)

The Cardinals fell to John Burroughs in the Class 4 title game to finish in second place.

14. Southern Boone (23-4)

Season completed.

15. Wellington-Napoleon (26-2)

Season complete.

16. Delta (28-2)

Season complete.

17. St. Joseph’s Academy (20-11)

The Angels lost a pair of games in Springfield to finish in fourth place in Class 6.

18. Cape Notre Dame (22-7)

19. Nixa (24-5)

20. Smithville (21-10)

The Warriors dropped a pair of games in Springfield to finish in fourth place in Class 5.

21. Blue Eye (27-6)

The Lady Crusaders won the Class 4 third place game with a 51-40 victory over St. James.
