Lee's Summit North, the top-ranked team in Missouri, took out No. 18 Lee's Summit West on Friday night to improve to 8-0.

Quarterback Elijah Leonard's dive into the end zone late in the fourth quarter proved to be the decisive score in North's 28-21 win over West (7-1).

Leonard also had two touchdown passes, both to Isaiah Mozee, despite rainy, windy conditions.

It was Mozee's second straight two-touchdown performance.

Quincy Torry had a huge game for West, rushing for all three of the Titans' touchdowns.

TOUCHDOWN WEST! Quincy Torry gets his third TD of the night, rushing in from a yard out. It's 21-21 with just over eight minutes to go. Three huge penalties by North (a roughing the passer, offside and face mask) set up the touchdown.

TOUCHDOWN NORTH! It's that man Isaiah Mozee again. He takes a screen pass and does the rest for a 14-yard touchdown catch. Kick is good and North has its first lead of the game, 21-14 early in the fourth.

THIRD QUARTER UPDATES

ANOTHER INTERCEPTION! On the next play Chase Clark picks it off right back for North. It'll be the Broncos' ball at the West 9 to start the fourth! Still 14-14.

INTERCEPTION! Elijah Leonard throws a pick to Jax Fosnow in the end zone in the waning seconds of the quarter.

Huge stop by Devin Wilson on fourth-and-short gives the ball back to West at the North 48. Still 14-14.

Second half is underway! West starts at its own 20. Titans get one first down but then have to punt. North with the ball at its own 24 looking for its first lead of the game.

SECOND QUARTER UPDATES

North goes three-and-out after the turnover and we go into halftime tied 14-14. It's a rainy, windy, run-heavy game thus far, and West will get the ball first in the third quarter.

FUMBLE! Broncos recover a Jackson Torry fumble in West territory. North ball at the West 49 with just under two minutes remaining.

TOUCHDOWN NORTH! Isaiah Mozee grabs a short pass, follows his blockers and races 29 yards for the end zone to make it 14-14 after the extra point. Huge fourth-down conversion by quarterback Elijah Leonard set it up. Less than three minutes remain in the first half.

TOUCHDOWN WEST! Quincy Torry walks in on fourth down from the 1-inch line to make it 14-7 Titans after the extra point. Offensive line opened holes for Torry the whole drive.

FIRST QUARTER UPDATES
