COLUMBIA, MISSOURI – We are taking a look at some of the top standouts and best performances from Missouri high school football games in Week 15 – championship week – as 14 teams battled for the seven state championships at the Show-Me Bowl.

Missouri high school football top performances

MicahJo Barnett, Liberty North

The senior running back ran for 120 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries in the Eagles' 38-7 win over two-time champion CBC in the Class 6 championship game. He also caught two passes for six yards.

Jobe Bryant, Park Hills Central

A senior wide receiver and safety, Bryant accounted for 359 total yards and seven touchdowns in the Rebels' 48-34 win over Seneca in the Class 3 championship game. He caught 12 passes for 163 yards and four touchdowns, completed all seven of his pass attempts for 123 yards and a TD and ran for 73 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries. He also had eight tackles, a forced fumble and fumble recovery on defense. 

Kaden Clouse, Seneca

A junior safety, Clouse led the Indians' defensive effort with 10 tackles, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a pass break-up in their Class 3 championship game loss to Park Hills Central. 

Dominique Dixon, Cardinal Ritter

The Lions' senior safety, a Tennessee State commit, recorded 12 tackles and one sack – a key stop on fourth down in the second half – in Ritter's Class 5 championship game victory. 

Hugh Eaton, Marionville

A senior running back and linebacker, Eaton ran for 62 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries and led the Comets' defense with 11 tackles and a fumble recovery in their Class 1 title game victory. 

Cameron Emmons, Kearney

The Bulldogs' senior running back scored four touchdowns in their 68-28 win over Hillsboro in the Class 4 title game. He finished with a team-high 93 yards rushing on 20 carries and added a 12-yard reception to give him 105 total yards.

Grant Fallert, Valle Catholic

The senior quarterback threw for 264 yards and four touchdowns (with two interceptions) and ran for a team-high 68 yards on 16 carries in the Warriors' 35-28 overtime loss to Lamar in the Class 2 title game. 

Bryce Gray, Cardinal Ritter

A junior defensive tackle, Gray led the Lions with 16 tackles in their Class 5 championship win over run-heavy Republic. 

Jaxon Jones, Park Hills Central

A junior linebacker, Jones led the Rebels' defense with 16 tackles and a fumble recovery in their Class 3 championship win over Seneca. 

Melvin Laster Jr., Liberty North

A four-year starter and UNLV pledge, Laster finished his storied career by leading the Eagles to their first football state title. He led North with eight tackles and five quarterback hits and had one of his team's four sacks.   

Manny Linthacum, Kearney

The speedy senior wide receiver caught five passes for 96 yards and two touchdowns and added a 21-yard touchdown run in the Bulldogs' 68-28 win over Hillsboro to win the Class 4 championship. He finished his season with 38 receptions for 1,117 yards and 14 touchdowns. 

Jackson Marrs, Seneca

The senior running back fueled the Indians' second-half comeback attempt in its Class 3 title game loss to Park Hills Central. He ran for 139 yards and four touchdowns on 25 carries and also caught a 7-yard pass. 

Briar McIntire, Archie

The Whirlwinds' quarterback ran for 225 yards and five touchdowns on 26 carries, passed for 83 yards and a score and caught two passes for 35 yards as Archie defeated Worth County 40-26 in the 8-man championship game on Thursday night.  

Grant McIntyre, Worth County

McIntyre caught six passes for 133 yards and two touchdowns in Worth County's 40-26 loss to Archie in the 8-man title game on Thursday. 

Dejerrian Miller, Cardinal Ritter

The Lions' standout wide receiver finished off his junior season with four catches for 74 yards and two touchdowns in Ritter's 38-25 win over Republic in the Class 5 title game. A 6-foot-3, 190-pounder Miller finished his junior season with 66 receptions for 1,361 yards and 25 touchdowns in just 12 games.  

Casen Murphy, QB, Park Hills Central

Murphy completed 29 of 43 passes for 363 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 52 yards in the Rebels’ 48-34 win over Seneca in the Class 3 championship game. 

Tyler New, Worth County

The Tigers' two-way standout passed for 233 yards and three touchdowns (with three interceptions) and ran for 62 yards and a score on 19 carries in Worth County's loss to Archie in the 8-man title game. On defense, New was credited with 23 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and a pass break-up. 

Grant Noland, Kearney

The Bulldogs' junior safety came up with a few clutch plays in his team's Class 4 championship victory over Hillsboro. He finished with eight tackles – including three touchdown-saving stops – along with an interception and a forced fumble.

Jamarion Parker, Cardinal Ritter

The Lions' junior running back, an Arkansas commit, ran for 123 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries as Ritter defeated Republic in the Class 5 title game to win its second straight championship. He also added a 35-yard punt return.  

Cash Pomeroy, Marionville

The Comets' 240-pound sophomore running back ran for 117 yards and a touchdown – a 67-yarder in the fourth quarter - in Marionville's 29-0 win over North Platte in the Class 1 championship game.  

Casey Rooney, Kearney

The senior quarterback completed 11 of 13 passes for 229 yards and four touchdowns in the Bulldogs' 68-28 win over Hillsboro in the Class 4 championship game. Rooney also added 91 yards rushing on six carries. 

Jayshawn Ross, Liberty North

The Eagles' senior edge rusher racked up five tackles, three quarterback hits, two sacks and blocked a punt in the second quarter that led to his team's go-ahead touchdown in the 38-7 win over CBC in the Class 6 championship game. 

Keelan Smith, Liberty North

The Eagles' standout senior wide receiver caught four passes for 133 yards and two touchdowns – including an 80-yarder in the fourth quarter – as Liberty North earned its first state championship with a win over CBC in the Class 6 title game.

Alex Wilkerson, Lamar

The Tigers' junior quarterback led their dramatic comeback victory in overtime over Valle Catholic in the Class 2 championship game. He passed for 217 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 135 yards and two scores on 23 carries.  

Wyatt Woods, Republic

The Tigers' quarterback accounted for 253 yards and four touchdowns in the Class 5 championship game loss to Cardinal Ritter. The senior ran for 120 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries and passed for 133 yards and two scores (with two interceptions). 

Cole Young, Liberty North

A senior safety and Central Missouri baseball signee, Young snagged two interceptions and returned one for a 40-yard touchdown in the Eagles' 38-7 win over CBC in the Class 6 title game. Young's INT return early in the third quarter put Liberty North ahead 21-7.
