Here are the candidates for SBLive's Missouri High School Athlete of the Week as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff.

Eddie Ahearn, Parkway South boys basketball

The 6-foot-3 senior became the school’s all-time rebound leader with 474, breaking a tie with the former co-leaders Kevin Pohle (2010) and John Rahoy (1986).

Camryn Alsdorf, Jackson girls basketball

The junior guard scored a game-high 26 points in a 59-47 win over Saxony Lutheran on Monday.

Edric Binagi, Liberty boys basketball

The 6-4 senior scored 26 points to help the Blue Jays pick up a 73-67 win in overtime on Tuesday.

Evan Bishop, Boonville boys basketball

The Pirates picked up a 69-56 win over Southern Boone County on Thursday and the junior led the way with 31 points.

Nevaeh Caffey, Incarnate Word girls basketball

In a 75-32 win over Ursuline Academy on Feb. 15, the Red Knights set the new MSHSAA state record for 124 straight wins. Caffey, who averages a team-best 13.4 points per game, scored a team-high 18 points.

Ky Coleman, Winnetonka boys basketball

The senior guard had a game-high 27 points, including 15 in the third quarter, in a 74-59 win over Kearney on Feb. 13.

Ehress Cunningham-Peoples, University City girls basketball

The senior guard scored her 1,000th career point in a 53-25 win over Hazelwood Central on Feb. 13

Lili Everly, Oak Park girls basketball

The junior set a new school record with 19 rebounds in a 74-44 win over Truman on Feb. 12.

Cooper Francis, Salisbury boys basketball

The senior standout recorded a double-double with 32 points and 11 rebounds, while hitting 11 of 16 free throws in a 62-54 win over Harrisburg on Tuesday.

Brenley Hagewood, Republic boys basketball

On a night he was honored for scoring his 1,000th point, the junior scored 31 points in a 63-36 win over Ozark on Tuesday.

Landri Hammontree, Sikeston girls basketball

The junior had a game-high 28 points to help the Lady Bulldogs beat Cape Girardeau Central on Wednesday.

Alayna Henage, Parkway South girls swimming

She won the 100-yard breaststroke and 200-yard individual medley, while also adding an all-state medal on a relay team during the Class 2 finals.

Kennedy Herrig, Liberty North girls basketball

During a 52-15 win over St. Joseph Central on Monday, she surpassed the 1,000-point mark. She is the first girls to accomplish that feat.

Grace Kraeger, Villa Duchesne girls swimming

The junior won a pair of individual titles, 100-yard backstroke and 200-yard freestyle, and earned an all-state medal in the 400-yard freestyle relay at the Class 1 finals.

James Lovelady, Liberty North boys wrestling

The Upper Iowa signee continues to pad his all-time win record for the Eagles. He won No. 150 during the district tournament on Saturday.

Jayla McClinton, Raytown South girls basketball

She had a career-high in both points (31) and rebounds (15) in a 58-54 win over Minnetonka on Feb. 15.

Grady Mortensen, Lee’s Summit West boys wrestling

The sophomore improved to 41-3 on the season by winning the Class 4 District 3 150-pound bracket on Saturday

Caleb Quade, College Heights Christian boys basketball

The senior forward helped the Cougars wrap up a share of the Ozark 7 Conference title on Feb. 13 and scored his 1,000th point in an 86-32 win over Golden City.

Derek Quinlin, Maryville boys basketball

The Morningside University signee broke the school record for 3-pointers with 11 and finished with 39 points in an 89-46 win over Creston, Iowa on Feb. 13.

Sydney Ringwald, Cape Central girls swimming

The junior won both the 50- and 100-freestyle races, while was on the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team at the Class 1 finals. She also added a fourth medal by taking second on the 400-yard freestyle relay squad.

Dane Scholtzhauer, Tipton boys basketball

He scored a career-high 30 points and hit 9 3-pointers in a 65-62 win over Stover on Feb. 13.

Sadie Sexauer, Father Tolton girls basketball

In a come-from-behind win over Capital City on Monday, the junior had a career-high 26 points in a 51-46 win.

Bryce Spiller, Lutheran North boys basketball

The senior guard, an Air Force commit, became the 11th Crusader to join the 1,000-point club on Tuesday.

Bradyn Tate, Carthage boys wrestling

He secured his 150th win during the Class 4 District 3 Tournament this past weekend. He won the 138-pound bracket to advance to state.

Zayden Teson, Warrenton boys wrestling

The freshman improved his record to 40-1 on the year after winning first in the 106-pound bracket at the Class 3 District 2 meet on Saturday.

Avery True, Liberty North girls swimming

She set a Class 2 record by winning the 200-yard freestyle in 1:48.63. She also won a title in the 100-yard freestyle and took two all-state medals in relays as well for the Lady Eagles.

Judah Vignery, Platte County boys basketball

He became the 8th Pirate to hit the 1,000-point mark and on Friday — in a 67-54 loss to Baytown South — and the first since the 2005 season. He had 25 points in the game.

Dontrez Williams, Sikeston boys basketball

The Bulldogs got a 32-point, 23-rebound effort from the Abilene Christian signee in a 71-68 win over Jackson on Feb. 16.

Cody Yates, Kingston boys basketball

During a 48-40 loss to Steelville on Monday, Yates surpassed the 2,000-point mark for his career.
