Here are the candidates for SBLive's Missouri High School Athlete of the Week as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff.

Ryan Barnhart, Winnetonka boys basketball

The junior had a game-high 20 points to help the Griffins beat William Chrisman, 64-49, on Monday in the district finals.

Addison Bjorn, Park Hill South girls basketball

The sophomore surpassed the 1,000-point mark in her young career during a 57-43 loss in the Class 6 District 8 finals on Monday.

Chase Branham, Logan-Rogersville boys basketball

The freshman had a game-high 25 points to help the Wildcats beat Father Tolton and punched a ticket to the final four in Class 4.

Payton Cogdill, Hartville boys basketball

In two games at the Show-Me Showdown, he had a team-high 26 points in the two games — 15 in the championship game against Weaubleau.

Maggie Collins, Platte Valley girls basketball

The senior scored 29 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in her final game to help her co-op program win the Class 1 championship for the third time in four years. The Northwest Missouri State signee had 18 points and 9 rebounds in the semifinal victory.

Olivia Cross, Northeast (Cairo) girls basketball

The sophomore led her team in scoring in the Class 1 title game with 15 points and had a team-high 19 points in a semifinal win against Delta on Tuesday.

Emma Daniels, Owensville girls basketball

On Saturday, she helped the Dutchgirls beat Aurora, 38-35, in a state quarterfinal game. The Columbia College signee also surpassed the 1,500-point mark in her career.

Khloe Dischbein, Park Hills Central girls basketball

The Lady Rebels beat Notre Dame Cape Girardeau on Monday, 44-39, with the senior scoring 20 of her team’s 44 points in a Class 4 playoff victory.

Cooper Francis, Salisbury boys basketball

In his final high school, the senior had 37 points in the Class 2 third-place game on Thursday, hitting 13 of 17 free throws and drawing 11 fouls in a 77-66 win over South Pemiscot. He finished with 68 points in two games in Columbia.

Ashlen Garrett, Skyline girls basketball

She tallied 58 points in two games at the Show-Me Showdown, punctuated with 37 points in the Class 2 championship victory over Principia on Thursday.

Clayton Garrison, Chadwick boys basketball

In the Class 1 finals, he scored a game-high 24 points for the Cardinals in the win over Braymer and had 11 in a semifinal win against Green City.

Abbey Green, Fair Grove girls basketball

She tallied a game-high 12 points to help the Lady Eagle win the Class 3 championship on Saturday, 33-27 over El Dorado Springs.

Jordan Haley, Braymer boys basketball

The Bobcats reached the Class 1 finals thanks to the junior tallying a game-high 23 points in a 67-56 win over Dadeville in the semifinals.

Presley Holweg, Delta girls basketball

The senior had a double-double in her last game — the Class 1 third-place game on Thursday — with 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Ladycats.

Gage Johnson, Weaubleau boys basketball

He led the Tigers to the Class 2 championship game by scoring 39 points in the semifinals against Salisbury. He added 22 in the title game loss against Hartville.

Peyton McCollum, Maryville boys basketball

The junior surpassed the 1,000-point mark in a Class 3 playoff game on Tuesday at Bearcat Arena.

Jackson Miller, St. Louis University High boys track and field

The freshman won the New Balance Indoor National Freshman Championship on Thursday in Boston. He ran 4:17.87, the fourth-fastest freshman indoor mile time ever.

AJ Ruff, New Madrid County Central boys basketball

The senior had a season-high 21 points, hitting 8 of 14 shots, to help the Eagles repeat as the Class 3 champion on Saturday.

Josie Salazar, Kickapoo girls basketball

She hit a three-pointer late and then a layup for the game-winning basket to help the Lady Chiefs beat Republic, 54-52 on Monday

Ramzi Salem, John Burroughs boys basketball

The senior guard had a team-high 22 points to help the Bombers beat Park Hills Central and punch a ticket to the Class 4 Show-Me Showdown.

Ava Schlotzhauer, Tipton girls basketball

She tallied a team-high 19 points and 14 rebounds to help the Lady Cardinals beat Norwood, 62-35, in the third-place game in the Class 2 Show-Me Showdown on Thursday. She had 17 in a semifinal loss to Skyline.

Dasia Scott, Principia girls basketball

The freshman posted a double-double in the Class 2 championship game with 19 points and 18 rebounds on Thursday. In the semifinal win over Norwood, she posted 24 points and 14 rebounds.

Eddie Smajic, Vianney boys basketball

The sophomore scored 26 points to help the Griffins knock off Sikeston, 71-54, on Saturday in a Class 5 playoff game on Saturday.

Langston Stroup, Hickman boys basketball

The senior had a game-high 22 points to help the Kewpie knock off top-seeded Rock Bridge in the Class 6 District 7 championship game on Tuesday.

Tim Wooden Jr., Kansas City Central boys basketball

Central punched a ticket to the final four for the first time in 25 years on Saturday with a win on St. Michael the Archangel. On Tuesday, he had 16 points — 15 in the second half — to help the Eagles beat Maryville, 63-51.
