Congratulations to Butte Central boys basketball guard Dougie Peoples for being voted SBLive’s Montana High School Athlete of the Week for March 7-13!
The junior scored 37 points, including the game-winning 3-pointer as the buzzer sounded on a 71-68 Class A state title victory over Lewistown.
Peoples ran away with this week’s honor, receiving 69.57% of the total vote.

Breanna Williams, Skyview girls basketball: Scored 25 points in a 64-54 victory over Hellgate in the ‘AA’ championship game.
Canzas HisBadHorse, Colstrip girls basketball: Scored 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in a 56-43 victory over Jefferson in the Class B state title game.
Madeline Heggem, Roy-Winifred girls basketball: Scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in a 48-40 victory over Box Elder in the Class C title game, completing the Outlaws' perfect 27-0 season.
