High school NIL rules in every state: Permitted, prohibited or under consideration?

North Carolina recently joined the ranks of state allowing athletes to profit from their name, image and likeness, and others appear on their way

NIL is sweeping the nation, as 19 states and counting now allow high school student-athletes to profit from their name, image and likeness.

Oregon made the move last October following Oklahoma's green light not long after. North Carolina became the latest state to pass a policy allowing NIL effective July 1.
