We asked players from two of the best high school football teams in the nation which superpowers they would pick

Even super powers have superpower wishes. 

The perennial national super high school football powers at Mater Dei and St. John Bosco revealed to SBLive reporter Myckena Guerrero last week what superpowers they wished to acquire. See all their answers in video above. 

The national top-ranked Monarchs (7-0) visit No. 7 St. John Bosco (6-1) in a mammoth Trinity League matchup 7 p.m. Friday. 

The longtime rivals have played 41 times since 1966 with Mater Dei winning 29 after the perennial national powers split last season. The Braves won the CIF Southern Section Division 1 championship game, 24-22 in December about six weeks after the Monarchs won the regular-season matchup, 17-7.
