Here are the nominees for SBLive’s National High School Athlete of the Week for Oct. 30-Nov. 5. Voting closes on Monday, Nov. 13, at 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Time).

Charleston Coldon, jr., Althoff Catholic (Illinois) football

Coldon caught seven passes for 207 yards and three touchdowns in a 56-20 victory over LeRoy.

Hogan Denny, sr., Mooresville (Indiana) football

Denny threw for 237 yards and a pair of touchdowns while running for 239 yards and two more scores in a 40-39 win over Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory.

Izzy Engle, sr., Edina (Minnesota) girls soccer

Engle, a Notre Dame commit, scored both of her team’s goals as Edina captured the Class 3A state title with a 2-1 win over Wayzata.

Joseph Filardi, jr., Half Hollow Hills West (New York) football

Filardi accounted for 651 total yards and 10 touchdowns — seven passing, three rushing — as Half Hollow Hills West took down Smithtown West in a shootout, 70-68.

Will Griffin, so., Jesuit (Florida) football

Griffin, a four-star sophomore, completed 24 of 31 passes for 391 yards and a Jesuit single-game school record seven touchdowns in a 66-35 win over Tampa Catholic.

Kallen Gutridge, sr., Wilsonville (Oregon) football

Gutridge passed for 336 yards and six touchdowns as Wilsonville downed Crater, 42-7.

Kory Hall, sr., Cleveland (California) football

Hall, a Colorado State commit, had eight receptions for 295 yards and five touchdowns in a 56-21 win over Kennedy.

Emma Kingston, fr., Mater Dei (California) volleyball

Kingston recorded seven total blocks as Mater Dei claimed its first Southern Section title since 2018 with a straight sets victory over Mira Costa.

DJ Lagway, sr., Willis (Texas) football

Lagway, a five-star Florida commit, threw for 303 yards and three touchdowns while also running for 88 yards and two more scores in a 49-35 win over Oak Ridge.

Matt Larson, sr., Glenbard East (Illinois) football

Larson rushed for 296 yards and four touchdowns on 28 carries as Glenbard East defeated Addison Trail, 28-13.

Ivan Levant, sr., Fairfax (California) football

Levant threw for 616 yards and eight touchdowns in a 60-26 victory over Panorama.

Drake Lindsey, sr., Fayetteville (Arkansas) football

Lindsey fired seven touchdown passes — matching a Fayetteville single-game school record — in a 56-21 win over Har-Ber. The Minnesota commit completed 25 of his 28 attempts.

Lindsey Mangelson, jr., Hamilton Southeastern (Indiana) volleyball

Mangelson, a Mississippi State commit, had 17 kills as Hamilton Southeastern completed a perfect 33-0 season with a four-set win over Castle in the Class 4A state championship match.

Maddux Reid, sr., Parish Episcopal (Texas) football

Reid had 32 carries for 310 yards and three touchdowns in a 49-40 shootout win over Prestonwood Christian. Reid is committed to Harvard.

Bryance Sanders, sr., Mustang (Oklahoma) football

Sanders ran it 27 times for 220 yards and three touchdowns as Mustang downed Edmond Memorial, 36-30.

Hunter Taylor, sr., Chiawana (Washington) football

Taylor turned 40 carries into 258 yards and four touchdowns in a 49-32 win over Moses Lake.

Herschel Turner, sr., Mt. Diablo (California) football

Turner ran for 413 yards and five touchdowns as Mt. Diablo got by Berean Christian, 55-40. The senior has 2,957 rushing yards and 42 touchdowns this fall, the most in North Coast Section and Bay Area high school football history.

Jacob Twombly, sr., Epping (New Hampshire) boys soccer

Twombly scored four goals as Epping defeated Woodsville in the Division IV state championship match, 6-1.

Bryce Underwood, jr., Belleville (Michigan) football

Underwood, a five-star junior, completed 21 of 25 passes for 312 yards and four touchdowns in a 65-14 rout of Saline.

Alex Westberry, jr., Crescent Valley (Oregon) boys soccer

Westberry netted four goals in a 5-0 victory over Churchill.

Aneyas Williams, sr., Hannibal (Missouri) football

Williams, a four-star Notre Dame commit, carried it 25 times for 257 yards and found the end zone four times in a 48-27 over Wentzville Holt.
