Look: What are St. John Bosco, Mater Dei football players most thankful for?

Heading into Friday's rematch of two of the nation's top five teams playing for a Southern Section title, top recruits reveal what they treasure most

A rematch of one of high school football's greatest rivalries featuring more than 70 future college players is scheduled Friday at the L.A. Coliseum, one of the most historic sports venues in the country.

St. John Bosco, ranked second nationally by SBLive, and No. 5 Mater Dei meet for a second time this season, this time with a Southern Section Division I title on the line.

With a day of gratitude celebrated throughout the land this week, SBLive Sports reporter Myckena Guerrero asked many of the top senior recruits from the game what they are most thankful for.

See and hear their thoughtful responses in the video above from athletes such as UCLA-bound running back Cam Jones, quarterbacks Elijah Brown (Stanford) and Caleb Sanchez, defensive lineman Aydin Breland (Oregon), linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa (Notre Dame) and defensive back Marcelles Williams (USC).

See more below on Friday's game, including a preview, last month's 28-0 St. John Bosco victory and last season's 24-22 Braves victory for the Southern Section title at the Rose Bowl.
