Neutral baseball fans across the globe got the World Series they wanted in 2024: The New York Yankees vs. Los Angeles Dodgers.

Global superstars abound in this series, from Japan's Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobo Yamamoto to Dominican titans Juan Soto and Teoscar Hernandez.

But among the homegrown stars, did you know Aaron Judge was a three-sport star for tiny Linden High School in Northern California? And fellow Yankees slugger Giancarlo Stanton is from Southern California.

California has more high school alumni playing in the World Series than any other state, with Texas second.

Here's where all 52 players on the Los Angeles Dodgers' and New York Yankees' active World Series rosters played high school baseball (or the country where they grew up playing baseball).
