Editor’s note: Our corresponding poll is intended to be fun, and we do not set limits on how many times a fan can vote during the competition. This poll is specifically for fans to vote on the players that have been nominated and in no way discredits any other player that may not be mentioned in our poll.

Here are the nominations:

Joey Tomasso, QB, Waverly: Not many quarterbacks can boast the kind of numbers Tomasso has this season. The signal caller has thrown for 2,365 yards, 34 touchdowns and just a mere two interceptions.

Will Currid, QB, Archbishop Stepinac: The 6-foot-2, 188-pound quarterback has been extremely solid under center for Archbishop Stepinac. Currid has completed 191-of-276 passes for 2,937 yards and 28 touchdowns.

Khaya Moses, QB, Monroe: Though Moses doesn't have quite the yardage of the two quarterbacks ahead of him, he's been every bit as efficient. Moses has completed 80 passes for 1,423 yards and 30 touchdowns to just three interceptions.

Robert Arnold, DE, Monroe: There's no denying a defensive end that's put up the kind of numbers Arnold has. The defensive end has racked up 72 total tackles, eight for loss and 19 sacks.

Tyler Vanderpool, RB, Cornwall Central: When it comes to running backs putting up the big numbers, Vanderpool stands out among them all. The tailback has rushed for 1,816 yards and scored 30 touchdowns this fall.

Marek Arbogast, WR, O'Neill: The wide receiver caught just about everything you could possibly throw his way. Arbogast hauled in 78 passes for 1,390 yards and 16 touchdowns this past season.

Dom Dorman, WR, Gloversville: Another split end that was extremely hard to stop was Dorman, who amassed 1,122 yards on 58 catches and scored 11 touchdowns for the Huskies.

Tristan Grimball, LB, Lockport: The heat seeking missile for a linebacker has been all over the place for Lockport. Grimball has tallied 135 total tackles, 12 for a loss and four sacks.

Jake Rooney, LB, Warwick: Rooney is another linebacker that's really racked up the tackles this past 2023 campaign. The Warwick linebacker has tallied an impressive 142 tackles and two sacks.

Damien Santiago, WR/DB, Carmel: The two-way star for Carmel has made an impact on both sides of the ball in 2023. On offense, Santiago has 297 yards receiving and five touchdowns and on defense has intercepted seven passes.
