Masters eclipsed 100 yards receiving and had a scoring catch. Haines caught two scoring passes and ran for a touchdown while gaining about 175 yards from scrimmage. DeBisschop had three touchdown passes and about 250 yards passing.

Sophomore outside linebacker Earl Ingle was in on double-digit tackles, Thomas McNamara returned an interception for a touchdown and was in on at least eight tackles, and Cole Peters stood out at inside linebacker (and ran for a touchdown on offense). Coach Chris Miller also said Zach Holmes played excellent on the offensive and defensive lines.
