Congratulations to Great Fallswide receiver Garrett Stone for being voted SBLive’s Montana High School Athlete of the Week for Oct. 18-24!

The senior three passes for 122 yards and two touchdowns in a 35-21 victory over Russell that earned them the No. 3 spot to the playoffs out of the West.

Stone received 49.06% of the vote, beating out Florence-Carlton QB Pat Duchien Jr. who finished second with 23.19%. Polson WR ColtonGraham finished third with 21.05% and Polson QB Jarrett Wilson finished fourth with 4.86%.

Here are the other athletes who were nominated for Oct. 18-24:

Michael Deleon, Billings West RB: Ran for 113 yards and a touchdowns in a 35-3 victory over Bozeman that won the West.

Pat Duchien Jr, Florence-Carlton QB: Accounted for 388 yards of total offense, completing 15 of 20 passes for 322 yards and three touchdowns while adding 66 yards and two more scores on 16 carries in a 63-26 victory over Bigfork.

Colton Graham, Polson WR: Caught eight passes for 101 yards and a touchdown in a 38-24 victory over Whitefish as the Pirates finished the regular season unbeaten.

Caleb Hren, Big Sky QB: Completed 19 of 28 passes for 263 yards and four touchdowns in a 34-6 playoff-clinching victory over Flathead.

Kaden Huot, Helena QB: Completed 21 of 35 passes for 253 yards and three touchdowns in a 21-7 victory over cross-town rival Capital that locked down the No. 3 seed to the playoffs from the East.

Chase McGurran, Helena WR: Caught nine passes for 141 yards and two touchdowns in a 21-7 victory over Capital.

Louis Sanders, Big Sky WR: Caught nine passes for 163 yards and three touchdowns in a 34-6 victory over Flathead that put Big Sky into the playoffs.

Garrett Stone, Great Falls WR: Caught three passes for 122 yards and two touchdowns in a 35-21 victory over Russell that earned them the No. 3 spot to the playoffs out of the West.

Jarrett Wilson, Polson QB: Responsible for 338 yards of offense with 191 yards passing and three touchdowns, completing 17 of 24, while rushing for 147 yards and two scores on 23 carries in a 38-24 victory over Whitefish.

Carissa Stratman, BozemanGirls Volleyball: Had a game-high 10 kills to help the Lady Hawks sweep Belgrade.

Abby Derbyshire, Billings Central Girls Soccer: Derbyshire finished with three goals to beat Whitefish (5-1) in the State A soccer semifinal match. The Rams will face Laurel in the State A state championship. 

Drew Johnson, Bozeman Boys Soccer: Johnson had four goals in the Hawk’s 7-1 quarterfinal victory over Missoula Sentinel. Bozeman will play Kalispell Glacier in the semifinals.
