Southern California high school football: Top stars, best performances in first week of 2021 playoffs (Nov. 4-6)
The first week of the fall 2021 Southern California high school football playoffs included several big performances across the L.A. City, Southern and San Diego sections.
Here’s a quick look at some of the top stars and individual performances from the first week of playoffs throughout SoCal.

SOCAL TOP STARS(Nov. 4-6)
Matthew Kraskouskas, Mira Costa RB: Kraskouskas rushed for 201 yards and had two touchdowns in Thursday's win over Pacifica.
Tomas Ramirez, Cypress RB: Ramirez had 329 total yards and four touchdowns in Friday's 35-27 win over Palos Verdes.
Trey White, Eastlake LB: White had four sacks in Eastlake's 7-3 playoff win against San Marcos on Friday.
Max Conaway, West Hills WR: Conaway had eight receptions for 139 yards and two touchdowns against Bonita Vista.
Major Givens, Steele Canyon RB: Givens had 24 carries for 247 yards and two touchdowns in Friday's three-point loss to Grossmont.
Garrett Bass-Sulpizio, La Jolla Country Day QB: Bass-Sulpizio passed for 329 yards and two touchdowns and also rushed for 51 yards and two touchdowns in Friday's six-point playoff win over Mt. Miguel.
Juan Estrada, Montgomery RB: Estrada had 196 rushing yards and three touchdowns against Francis Parker on Friday night.
Fabian Venegas, Sweetwater RB: Venegas rushed for 203 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries against Valhalla. He also threw a 44-yard touchdown pass in the 73-6 win.
Bjorn Hermansen, Rancho Buena Vista RB: Hermansen rushed for 254 yards and three touchdowns, leading the Longhorns to a 50-18 win over Mar Vista.
Jack Susank, Mission College Prep RB: Susank had 153 rushing yards and three touchdowns while also grabbing two interceptions on defense in a round one win over Lenore.
Jason Robinson Jr, Long Beach Poly WR: Robinson had six catches for 130 yards and two touchdowns against Trabuco Hills.
Tyson Bordeaux, Long Beach Poly WR: Bordeaux caught six passes for 160 yards and a touchdown in the Jackrabbits' playoff win against Trabuco Hills.
Jason Jones, Sierra Canyon RB: Jones had 315 total yards and three touchdowns to help the Trailblazers to a 42-35 win over JSerra.
Jamier Flowers, Venice ATH: Flowers caught six passes for 50 yards and a touchdown, had 50 yards rushing, and returned a kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown in Friday's win over Kennedy.
Chad Sabal, Hawkins QB: Sabal passed for 164 yards and a touchdown and also rushed for 200 yards and two touchdowns against Wilson.
Ilyas Abdullah, Westchester RB: Abdullah had 249 total yards and two touchdowns against Grant on Friday.
Troy Fletcher, Edison DB: Fletcher had five tackles and two interceptions including a pick-six against Murrieta Valley on Friday.
Venasio Mikaele, JW North RB: Mikaele had 15 carries for 124 yards and four touchdowns against Capistrano Valley.
Eddie Allain, Norte Vista RB: Allain rushed for 259 yards and two touchdowns on only 16 carries in a two-point playoff win over Monrovia.
David Rasor, Corona Del Mar QB: Rasor passed for 310 yards and three touchdowns and also had two rushing touchdowns in Friday's 42-35 playoff win over Warren.
Anthony Luna, Western QB: Luna had 267 passing yards and five touchdowns to help the Pioneers get a road playoff win at Lompoc.
Anthony Woods, Palmdale RB: Woods dominated against West (Torrance), rushing for 306 yards and five touchdowns.
Jason Costa, Santa Ana RB: Costa had 272 rushing yards and two touchdowns in Friday's playoff win over Mayfair.
Rashad McElroy, Tehachapi WR: McElroy caught a 27-yard touchdown pass and also returned a kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown against Bishop Union.
Jacquez Neal, Roosevelt RB: Neal had 200 rushing yards and three touchdowns in Friday's 34-28 playoff win against San Clemente.
